Enjoyable experience in Ventimiglia

Clean, stylish, calm place to stay, with a beautiful view, and a nice breakfast. The landlady Jessica-super helpful, took me by her car to the city center several times! Grazie mille!

The only uncomfortable thing is that it’s high in the mountain and too complicated to get back up the hill without a car. The taxi is an option, but you may end up paying a way too much for a short ride from the centre.

Nice and quiet location but requires good fitness level when walking into town.

We enjoyed our stay but you need a good fitness level to walk down to town and back again. The 2.4-kilometer distance from town is a steep down- and uphill clime. However, the location is in a quiet neighborhood, and the host is a charming lady who will prepare a nice breakfast for you.

Unforgettable experience: a very welcoming, open and helpful host, the house with its history and all those omni-present human-touch small design pieces, family portraits on the walls - all this makes it so much different from a chain hotel... A spacious room with a small balcony and a view... on the mountains across the gorge and the sea down the hills... Night walks with the magnificent southern moon painting a silver path on the shivering surface of waves...

Prepare for a cautious drive up into the hills where the house is located: sometimes it is quite narrow, often with curves where you cannot see a car coming from the opposite direction. So, just do not hurry, drive slowly and cautiously if you are not too used to narrow mountainous roads... - and then in a few days you will have some practice and habit.

A great B&B experience

A lovely home-stay B&B experience. The rooms were well presented and comfortable. The provided breakfast was great. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Like staying with old friends.

The property is located in the old town, which is some distance from the city centre, and some people may find the walk (it's quite steep) inconvenient.

Mrs Jessica and her husband were really friendly and drove up to pick us up at the house. The whole house is amazingly decorated. In the morning there was kolaches, cold cuts and honeydew melon and such, prepared by Mrs Jessica herself. It really made it feel like home.

The location does have some isolation and requires a rather winding mountain walk, so it is not recommended to stay here if you are not travelling by car. Although there are electric scooters in Ventimiglia, the parking spots are all particularly far from the accommodation. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, which is fine at night but can get a bit hot during the day. Taller people should be careful as they may bump their heads a lot.

Superb

hosts were really kind and friendly. actually offered to pick me up and drop me off at the train station. room is clean and big with a nice spacious bathroom. really enjoyed my stay. the only downside is that it's high uphill, takes a good 20 minutes of climbing which was inconvenient specially in a town that lacks means of transportation.. would be perfect for someone travelling with a car, though.

Very good

Lovely little B+B with incredible views from our balcony. The host was very welcoming. The room was hot but comfortable and the added bonus of mosquito netting on the windows. The lovely bathroom is not ensuite - but the next door along and not shared. A 15min walk takes you to the old town which is beautiful.

Excellent experience in a friendly environment

The accommodation is charming and has fantastic balcony views. The owners were extremely friendly and did everything to make us feel welcome. Excellent breakfast with the option of making sandwiches for later in the day which came in very handy!

Badet på gangen var ikke ekslusivt til vår bruk, selv om vi ble fortalt at dette var kun for oss.

Svært hyggelig vertinne. Vi ble godt tatt i mot og behandlet under oppholdet. God frokost. Svært positivt at vi under frokosten også fikk ta med oss mat til lunsj.

Badet er ikke direkte tilknyttet rommet, men ligger på gangen. Vi ble fortalt at badet var kun til vårt bruk, men det viste seg at toalettet inne på badet også ble benyttet av verten. Det var svært ubehagelig med urinflekker på gulvet og en toalettskål full av urin, siden det ikke var trukket ned. Vi hadde ikke forventet å dele bad. Det var ingen informasjon om dette på booking.com. Dette er grunnen til at vi har trukket i score på "fasiliteter" og "renhold" (selve rommet var rent).

Teleurstelling

Ik heb goed geslapen ondanks de harde bedden. De wandeling naar beneden is best leuk, het uitzicht is mooi maar die zie je alleen vanaf t terras helemaal rechts. De kamer was netjes en schoon en rook prettig. Badkamer idem.

Bedden zijn heel hard, geen wifi, kleine kamer met laag plafond, geen ontbijt op t mooie terras. Geen echte Italiaanse koffie maar uit n automaat. De eigenaresse was onpersoonlijk en zakelijk. Dit stoorde mij t meest ! Ik voelde mij Niet welkom. Ik had te hoge verwachtingen nav de fotos maar dat is allemaal prive en alleen voor de vrouw des huizes...heel misleidend. Ik ben beter gewend van BnB s die n persoonlijke benadering hanteren..

De hartelijkheid van de gastvrouw/eigenaresse. Het uitzicht. De verzorgdheid en netheid van het huis en alles was keurig en schoon. Het ontbijt was super.

De weg er naar toe was moeilijker dan gedacht. Terug ging het beter.
