The cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hot tub and outdoor TV was fab! Great location. It’s approximately 3-4 min drive to lake Windermere. Staff responded straight away when I needed to communicate with them.
There was approx 14 stairs to walk up to access the cottage. It wasn’t a problem but I would have sooner booked a cottage at ground level as it would have been more convenient to let my dog out more . However the big fields made up for it as my little dog loved to run in the fields.

kitchen was nice except for few points, Bathroom great.
We found freezer completly frozen up needs defrosting not useable no ice cube tray. Coffee machine would be nice, looked for place mats for plates etc on dining table, more pots and pans would be good. Shortage of glasses there was mainly champagne glasses none for mixed alcoholic drinks. Very difficult to have my favourite gin and tonic no ice cubes no suitable glass. Shame hot tub is next to road, bit noisy. Bes was too small for us should of found out size before.
