Perfect location with an even perfect apartment. We will be back.

Amazing location, cosy and warm apartment. Well equipped.

More comfortable seating in the living room would be nice to really be able to relax. Whilst not a major issue, the stairs wallpaper, light fitting and hand rail let the “overall tone” of the apartment down slightly, it wouldn’t put us off coming back! Just an observation :)

Fab location and apartment - great value for money!

The property was located right in the centre of Bowness. We were worried about the parking but we had several options pretty close by. The apartment was massive and we couldn't fault the value for money, especially at half term. The little juliet balcony, dining room and huge bathroom were just a few of the things we loved! We'd definitely go back :)

Comfort. Beds are super comfortable. In a great location for the town. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Nice hand-wash and body lotion. Nice fluffy white towels. Loved our stay.

Lighting very dim, needs a spotlight in bedroom to see whilst doing hair and makeup.

Excellent location needs updating

The location is excellent

The apartment needs updating its very dated and a bit grubby. Upholstery etc need to be cleaned and couldn't see out of the windows they were that dirty.

Short family break.

The location was brilliant and great having a permit to park for our stay. The bedrooms and bathroom were lovely and a view over lake. Beds are very comfy. The Jack and Jill bathroom arrangement great as we had a 11/2 year old, so very safe to go between them both. Heating easy to put on to warm up the house. Kitchen great and well stocked with pans and crockery.

Unloading and packing up as double yellow lines outside and not many spaces nearby. Be lovely if they had a little table in the kitchen as that is where the view is. The dining room needs some nice table lamps as the ceiling light is rather bright. Be nice if had seats like the settee in lounge as other 2 are quite uncomfortable.

A wholesome stay.

We loved the location of the property! As we have a 1-year-old, it made it easy to get around. It has a super large bed, which made the mornings cosy with our little one. The owners were really accommodating and had excellent communication prior to our stay to help answer any and all of my questions. They had also left a bottle of Prosecco and a birthday message to celebrate my partners birthday as that was the purpose of our stay.

Great 2 bedroom apartment with stair access close to the town and plenty of dining options

Great location and spacious with great bathroom and kitchen facilities

The kitchen could do with a microwave. The masterbed was very comfortable but second bed not as comfortable. Little noisy near the pub opposite but quietens down around 10.30 most nights.

Lovely holiday of hiking in the beautiful lakes region.

The beds were comfortable and the kitchen very nice. Very convenient location to buy food and get public transit.

At night Bowness is a little noisy, especially as it was warm so we had windows open. That would be same at any place in the centre of the village.

Great stay at Bowness on Windermere.

The house is really beautiful just as the photos. Well appointed, very comfortable and very close to all the restaurants and shopping areas at Bowness. Can see the lake from the bedroom. The bus stop is just around the corner near Costas to travel to any nearby towns.

Perfect stay

The property was in an amazing location with fabulous views of lake Windermere. The lake, shops, restaurants bars were on the doorstep. We couldn’t ask for anymore. It was cosy, comfortable, well equipped and decorated to a lovely standard. The hosts were brilliant.

The only issue I had was activating the keypad so my partner had to do it everytime as it registered his hand.

Lovely stay at The View! Property was very homely during the awful weather, which was an added bonus! Location was perfect and we enjoyed how close everything was.

Parking situation could be a little better - I.e. a parking spot near the property, but I do understand the location may not allow this!

Luxurious pre Christmas treat.

They have thought of everything. There is a kitchen full of all the crockery, cutlery and utensils you could possibly need. The bed in the master bedroom is huge! Along with a luxurious walk in shower. We were sent the codes for the electronic door lock, which was easy to use. We were even given a parking pass that permitted us to park in many car parks around the Lake District. The location of the property is ideal to explore the local bars of Bowness as you are in the centre. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Very clean, comfortable, great location and all facilities were good. everything at hand in the kitchen and great that grill already had foil ready to use.

Wasn’t sure how to work the heating and the extractor fan for the en-suite. Also when leaving property couldn’t find light switch for the stair way and very dark to find your feet.

Relaxing and comfortable.

Location was fantastic it’s right next to everything, the decor is very tasteful and the hosts sent very friendly communications.

Little touches could be added like a digital radio in the kitchen, and the laminated signs that were around could be complied neatly into a folder as they made it feel less cosy. Also a description of the door to find it would’ve been good, as it could easily be missed.
