Could be good but neighbours are hostile. Ruins everything.

It’s a nice lodge, simple, well equipped and what you’d expect. Hot and good showers, comfy beds and very Lake District.

The entire trip was ruined by the neighbouring property. (Nr 8). They blocked in our car on purpose for two days, stopping us moving our vehicle because of a gripe they had with the owner of the lodge we hired. When we asked on Sunday if he would move his vehicle, he said he would on the following Tuesday when him and his wife were leaving. When you arrive at 6pm in the pitch black, with no direction from the site or owner of the lodge, it’s unacceptable for the holidaymaker to be penalised and experience confrontation . Literally had to threaten to this guy to live his car before he did anything. Absolutely ruined a good weekend.

Gorgeous Lodge.

The location of the lodge was perfect, near to the entrance to the park and near to the lake. The furniture is very comfortable and loads of storage. We had a dog and just used some of the patio furniture to block the entrance, was not a problem as there are 6 chairs outside. Gorgeous lodge, very plush. Loved it.

There was nothing we didn't like, we will be going back.

My husband and I have just returned from a weeks stay at Beech Hill 9. Excellent lodge with home from home facilities. Key code collection was easy. The lodge itself was in an good position at Fallbarrow and was in excellent clean condition. We had been to Fallbarrow before and wanted to return due to the excellent facilities and location. There is a lovely bar and restaurant on site and the staff were so friendly and when quiet even did table service. There was entertainment on site on a Wednesday and Saturday night. There is a shop and costa coffee shop on site. Only 5 minute walking distance into Bowness with bars/restaurants/shop and the lake where you can get a boat trips. We will definitely be back later in the year for another visit in this beautiful lodge.

The 2 sofa's were worn and uncomfortable but if was not an issue as we were out most of the time. Also no wi-fi in the lodge again not an issue but could be if you had children that cant live without it lol :) Wifi was accessible in the Willow Bar and restautant.

wonderful visit to the Lake District made better by the lovely accommodation with views of the lake

location, spacious and well designed, two bathrooms, availability of car parking, quality towels, we’ll equipped kitchen with superior standard fixtures and fittings, plenty storage, comfortable furniture and good mattresses, central heating, great outdoor seating area and fabulous lake view.

wi-fi not available in property (storm damage) staff in main reception helpful but some disconnect because property privately owned so any issues needed to be reported to booking agent.

Fantastic well equipped Lodge, excellent location

Well equipped and immaculate, loved the location, outside decking and fantastic BBQ, great quiet location.

Everything was perfect, if I was nit picking, better utensils for BBQ and something to clean it with. We were unable to clean it. We will definitely stay again.
