Tuscany and tower

The Good: There's a lift in the building — very small, but still better than nothing, especially with heavy luggage. The apartment is on the 3rd floor. The building feels like it was originally a family home. There's a shared common area with a table and an old piano. The apartment itself is made up of two rooms combined into one, with a living room and kitchen — very spacious and clean. The bathroom has been fully renovated and is in great condition. There's a coffee machine, a fridge, and a portable two-burner induction cooktop.

The Not-So-Good: The bathroom has a door, but the shower area itself doesn't — it only has a curtain that covers about 70% of the opening, so water easily splashes out while showering. This isn't great for anyone, including the owner. A proper shower door or screen would make this perfect. There's no washing machine. There were no plates, bowls, or pots provided, although we had no plan to cook there. Tourist tax is not included in the amount paid through booking.com. It's €2.50 per adult per night — make sure you bring cash, as the owner will ask you to leave it on the table.

Really nice apartment in a great location. Great communication and really easy to check in and out (self check in). Much better than a hotel (we stayed one night)! Would definitely recommend
