Okay for what we needed but not worth the money paid I don’t think

The smell of weed in the property constantly and the cigarettes and drug bags on stairs when we walked up to room the location is good but isn’t very welcoming when your trying to get to the apartment

Nothing! Full review below and also, be aware that the owners think it's acceptable to retain your security deposit, which is also stated in other reviews. I have messages to prove they informed me my £100 had been issued, which was clearly a lie, as I am still waiting 1 month after staying. I have since raised an official complaint through booking.com and have provided them with proof to show my deposit has still not been returned and that the owners are now ignoring my messages... disgusting!

I have stayed in a lot of apartments, but this really is the pits! The place is clearly used a brothel, cameras with microphones outside of the front door of the apartment, and the reviews state that men have knocked on the door during the night. Upon entering the place we found discarded jewellery, toilet roll, water, and lighters under the bed, absolutely disgusting. It smelt like someone had just cooked their dinner and left, honest the place is terrible and to top it off, the taxi driver who picked us up on the Sunday said there's two brothels in the building and that he drops men off all the time! We paid extra for a late checkout, however we couldn't bear to be in it any longer than we had to, so we left as spin as we woke. We stripped the beds, emptied the rubbish and yet the owners think it's acceptable to keep my £100 security deposit (as mentioned above). Please AVOID this apartment! I am actually challenging booking.com as to why they are still allowing this to be advertised on their site, as the reviews speak for themselves!

Location was great kitchen area was clean and well equipped

75 steps leading to the room half were an outside fire escape steps . 2 keys code points to access building, Had to walk through a dirty entrance back yards of restaurant etc , rubbish and broken furniture, the smells were very strong once in the room (5th flight)we could not open windows for the smell off cooking below . The bed was 3/4 tiny for 2 people we had to top and tail because we were rolling into each other as it was only foam .No MATTRESS.bathroom radiator was loose on the wall ,no handle on shower door to close the door. Sitting area was to sort of 2 folding beds well used ,not comfortable at all to watch TV communal stair case was very dirty .

Location was brilliant, communication was fine, I struggled to get into the apartment but the host called me back and assisted me. Received my damages deposit refund just after a week of departure. Property was clean

It was in bad condition we had people knock on our doors as we found out it was a brothel. People below us was smoking cannabis. The apartment doors kept flying open all night safe to say we didn’t sleep one bit and couldn’t wait to leave

Lovely modern apartment for city centre stay

We stayed in apartment 24. Apartment was lovely & clean & modern. Great location for nightlife. Safety deposit was returned the day after checking out which I thought was great. The 2 rooms are a good size and the apartment slept 8 of us comfortably.

There was a small issue with the self check in but we managed to call & have it resolved quickly which was good. Please note, there are several stairs to get up to the apartment block and also into the apartment itself. We were a group of young woman so this didn't bother us but please note this when booking.

No cleaning facilities available, apartment was not clean when we arrived sticky floors, stained couch etc. Table in the living room was wobbly and was unusable to have a meal on. Balcony doors also would randomly blow open in strong winds

Shocking customer service. The people make you pay a deposit of 200 pounds to an English bank account not ideal when you are an international business traveller. The number doesn’t work when you call, was left stranded outside the place by myself due to lack of contact and proper booking details on the booking conditions. They take 230 euros from your account on top of your stay as a sesucurity deposit and don’t get it back for days. Didn’t even bother to answer the phone. The beds are shocking. Old mattress, is basically like a student accommodation. The couch has disgusting stains on it. The rooms are dingy.

On arrival it was clear this was not what it said on the tin! Dead plants, dirty staircase, very tired, stained bedding, furniture, one used Tea bag in the pot, no loo roll, dirty broken mop and bucket in the bathroom, a drizzle of soap in a well used plastic pt,smelly, student accommodation, I was frankly embarrassed for my poor daughter and her boyfriend to contemplate staying here. No bedside tables, just a lamp on the floor,overflowing broken wardrobe, even the plastic hangers were fighting to escape. The fan left in the room was full of dirt and had given up the ghost, not working,why bother leaving it there!broken blinds. no dishcloth, tea towel, you are required to wash and dry up before you leave , how is this possible without the tools. A collection of stolen glasses from surrounding pubs it seemed.chipped dirty paintwork, dirty freezer, dirty toilet, I didn’t want to take my shoes or clothes off. Bathroom bin was full of the last clients rubbish. The owners required a £200 damage deposit before arrival, this clearly should have been used before from previous clients trashing the place.it’s very very tired. Very stained sofas, a sad looking thin cushion ,you spoil me………I also have an apartment I rent out and I would get constant complaints if this was what was on offer to my guests.I’m sorry but you need to up your game if you want more bookings! Your gleaming reviews do not reflect the reality of this eye opening experience. I arrived late from the train at 9.30 pm so it was too late to get hold of the owner . No one answered the phone during the day or night.please take note , it needs some love in the apartment in the heart of the city.
