Location is great and near the beach

Towels are old and dry, shower heads need to be changed and the water drips. Staff needs to be trained. The host made breakfast in her night wear. The door locks need to be changed as one of us struggled to enter our room.

We loved our stay here, the rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was really nice. It was an easy walk to Duynefontein (you might just need to ask for directions). The staff were very friendly.

I would maybe recommend adding a hairdryer in the room and double checking that the safe works but other than that, we loved our stay there.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff is really friendly and helpful, we had a delicious breakfast.

The previous occupants took a while to check out and caused me to run behind with my time. However, the staff did their best to assist and reassure us.

The size of the room was adequate. I liked that there was a covered braai area with a fridge. The manager was nice.

On the first day we arrived it was as if they were notified of our stay an hour before check in. Nothing was done, the B&B didn’t look ready to receive guests. Our room wasn’t done by check in time. We sat by a dirty pool as we waited for the staff to finish our room. Upon doing our checks in the room, we discovered a fridge area filled with cockroaches and open food. Even after it was “cleaned out” the cockroaches returned day after day making our stay very uncomfortable and unpleasant. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, there was dust and alcohol packaging from what I’m assuming was from the previous guest. The shower and bathroom had mould and mildew. I didn’t even feel comfortable using the shower accessories, it was disgusting. The shower fixtures were dirty and loose. The shower head was pathetic, barely any water coming through. The towels weren’t changed daily, not that it matters because they were disgusting. It was old, crusty and smelt vermif. Only the bed was made daily, the room wasn’t cleaned which is no surprise considering the state it was in on our first day. There was no breakfast menu, you’re told what’s for breakfast. No consideration of any dietary restrictions or requirements. The cook looked very annoyed when you would show up for breakfast. The cook who seemed to be working as a cleaner as well was very annoyed with any request. The safe didn’t lock and I was very surprised to see how the guests rooms were left open after they were “cleaned” with all our belongings inside. Staff presence was also very poor. The pool wasn’t very clean. There was a lot of dirt gathered at the bottom, the creepy crawly was only switched on on the third day our stay as the managers family visited her at the B&B.

At an affordable price, we received the best accomodation.

Beautiful, neat, safe and quiet. I would visit there again anytime. We enjoyed our stay. The cherry on top was their convenient wifi which allowed us to enjoy a netflix movie with a very spacious bed and clean room. We honestly enjoyed our stay.

Maybe the place should try and have a restaurant which runs whole day since shops are quite far. It would be nice if you can get everything from there. For example we had to order our dinner outside.

A lovely venue just off the R27 with everything you need.

We loved the pool area and the fact that is was pet friendly. The secure parking meant that we didn't have to worry about any break-ins. Breakfast was superb and just what we needed to hit the long road. Thank you for your hospitality.

Breakfast was good. there was Juice and coffee, but maybe have water available. Also maybe have a different breakfast selection if someone is staying longer than one day. Aircon was really good.

I would definitely recommend Beachwood Inn because it's good value for money and very peaceful.

My friends and I were attending an event in the area and needed a place to sleep after. We were definitely not disappointed by Beachwood Inn not only because it was about 5 minutes from the event but because we received a warm welcome when checking in. We requested for the beds to be seperated in one room which was catered for. The manager was so understanding when one of our friends got stranded and we couldn't get her home with an Uber because of the time. I personally would love to spend more time in the area and would definitely choose Beachwood Inn as my place of preference. Breakfast was delicious too ;-)

Due to the fact that we visited as a group of friends I found that the bathroom was a bit small and couldn't lock but this is definitely not a problem if you're travelling as a couple. The facility had everything we needed for the time we were there.

Fantastic Stay

I travelled to Melkbos for work and stayed at the Beachwood Inn. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and assisted me with anything I needed! The facilities are perfect for short and medium term stays. I highly recommend it! P. S. They had a great breakfast which was a bonus 😁
