Hotel RIU Garoé

Our stay at this hotel felt intimate, special, and truly unique. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where guests are treated with genuine care and respect. Every member of the staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and kind. The pool, facilities, and overall atmosphere were excellent. We have no complaints whatsoever. This was undoubtedly one of the best hotel experiences we have had while traveling throughout Europe, if not the very best.

There was nothing we disliked about the property. Everything exceeded our expectations.

I had a generally beautiful experience at this hotel. The location is excellent — very peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by nature. Transportation is great as well; the bus stop is just a 5-minute walk away, making it very easy to travel around the island. The hotel itself is beautiful, and everything was very good.A special thank you goes to the restaurant staff and waiters! They were absolutely amazing, incredibly friendly, and provided top-tier service. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed for 17 days (1st time) and loved everything about the Riu Garoe. The staff are very welcoming especially in the restaurant, they work hard and ensure everything is perfect. The housekeeping is excellent and standards for cleanliness is very high, not only in rooms but all around the hotel. The rooms are spacious and decor is lovely. There is plenty of wardrobe/drawer space. Mini fridge. The bathroom is beautiful with double wash basins and large shower with a door. Towels and bath robes were pure white ( for me this is a must). The pool is very well kept and a good system for allocating towels and sunbeds. The food is exceptional, so much choice. Very good breakfast with fruits, eggs cooked to order, rolls, croissants etc. Dinner also has great choices, beautiful salads, soups, cheeses, meats. Steak and fish cooked to order. Beautiful desserts. The pool bar/snack bar and main bar are really comfortable and great variety of cocktails. Evening entertainment. We always stay in the La Paz area and its a quiet, beautiful area. We didnt use the courtesy bus as we had a car. No problems parking on the street or on grounds adjacent to the hotel. We would definitely return to this hotel. Stayed in many hotels and apartments in Puerto for 40+ years and this is our favourite.

This is minor but we do like a coffee first thing in the morning. A Nespresso machine would be great but equally a kettle would be appreciated.

Nice reception staff, great food, very clean rooms

I would prefer one queen/king site bed over two separate beds.
