    Great value for money. The hotel room looked newly refurbished, and the overall experience was very good. The only disappointment was the breakfast, but I suppose it was decent for the price.

    The hotel is a bit older so the facilities are not great, but the rooms have been refurbished and are very nice and clean. And as we weren't planning on spending much time at the hotel, the rooms were pretty much all we cared about. The breakfast selection was good and most of the staff (mainly at the restaurant and the cleaning ladies) was really nice. The only issue we had was that when we first checked in, we were given a room on the 4th floor next to the lift - this lift is most likely old or something is not working properly because the squeaking noise it was making (only on the 4th floor though) was waking us up all night long. At first we thought its someone in the room above us moving furniture or something, and we were very tired the first night so we left it. But after no sleep on the second night and realising it's the lift I went to speak to the receptionists to ask for a change of room. I explained her the situation but she was looking at me like I'm making it all up and I'm crazy. I really didn't appreciate their unhelpful and condescending attitude. In the end they agreed to change our room but only after spending yet another night in the original room with barely any sleep.
