The location was perfect - just straight down the road to the seafront and town centre. The apartment was comfortable and spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. I had a couple of questions for the host and she was very quick to answer and obliging. I will be back.

The stay was comfortable & convenient.

Rent was economical Property was very clean Basic necessities in kitchen i.e. cutlery, tea, sugar, coffee, oil, salt & black pepper were already in there.

Heating system for radiator was not very straightforward...but it could also be me who couldn't understood it in the first place how to operate the heating and took ages to get heating on. Carpeted floor would have added more comfort.

Perfect property for a relaxing break in Largs

Beautiful apartment in the Centre of Largs. Just a couple of minutes from the seafront. The apartment had everything I needed for a relaxing break. Quiet location. Spotlessly clean with lots of fluffy towels available. Tea, coffee, and sugar a bonus. Exellent host. Will be back again.

Great place and lovely stay.

I had a a wonderful time staying at Carrick. An absolutely beautiful apartment, clean, comfortable and secure. Super comfy bed and sofa and stunning shower room. It’s also close to all the local amenities. Just 5 minutes away from the seafront. Very quiet location and has a peaceful garden with table and chairs. There is as a guestbook folder with all the information I needed for everything in the property. Easy checkin with keys in lockbox so I could come and go at my leisure. Josephine’s communication was great, nothing was any hassle. Thank you for having me. I am already planning my next visit to Largs and look forward to staying at Carrick again!

Worst place we have stayed in Largs.

Location

No hot water Mattress not comfortable Floor covered in sand. No checkout time on instruction booklet Unclear instructions for leaving key at end of stay, they indicated putting key in box on ground floor. There was no box on ground floor, so we posted them through the door to flat. Owner called us after we had sent her an email, she was annoyed because we had done this as this apparently was the only key to flat. Abusive language was used by owner, said she would have to get locksmith. Found it hard to believe they only had one key for property.

Smart well equipped apartment, plenty of space for 2. Very clean and tidy. Tea, coffee, sugar salt &pepper all supplied

Location is not the smartest, but OK. Hot water to sink/basin was a little slow to come through, but OK Downstairs door to shared hallway didn't always lock, but look for door into the apartment worked fine

Exceptional accommodation just minutes from the beachfront

The property was spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated. Had everything I needed for my stay. Josephine was lovely and very accommodating. Location is fantastic with just a short walk to the beachfront. Super comfy bed and pillows. Lots of beautifully soft towels provided. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. I was especially thankful for the tea and coffee provided. Looking forward to my next visit to Largs and my stay at Carrick.

Loved staying here. Weather was awful but the apartment was the perfect place to be to escape it.

Loved the apartment. Everything is so clean, fresh and welcoming. Clear, easy instructions for entry. Very pleasant decor and the host had all information regarding WiFi, heating, hot water, TV etc so clearly written that it was easily followed. I guess, at this point I should explain that I’m not good with technology and was pleasantly surprised that I had no problem with anything. The furnishings were of much better quality than you would expect in a property which is let - clearly a lot of thought went into the apartment and, as such, the bed, settee and everything was extremely comfortable. On street parking was always available when I needed it. Convenient street for the shops etc but quiet at night which was ideal. I enjoyed staying here immensely and the lovely neighbours were a bonus.

Great location for visiting the area and only a 2 minutes' walk to the sea front & shops/restaurants. Clean and secure flat with everything you could need.

The flat was lovely, the location was near the beach. Had a lovely time. Would recommed it too fellow travellers. Lots to see and do. The ferry to Cumbria near by and had a wonderful sail on the Waverly paddle steamer.

Perfect small flat for short stay

Clear and timely instructions from the host both before arrival and with explanations within the flat about hot water etc. The flat is in a great location near the sea front but also in 20 minutes walking distance from the National sports centre. The street itself has properties in varying states of repair and the cracked windows of the downstairs flat were worrying on arrival, but the flat itself is neat, tidy and had everything I needed including free WiFi and fluffy soft towels. The key code and lock box made it very easy to get into the property despite arriving quite late.

The apartment was spotlessly clean but small. The step from hall to bathroom is high and a wee bit worrying.The stairs up to the apartment are spiral and not easy to negotiate The outside areas are very shabby.

Great cosy flat.

Good location close to all amenities. Flat was clean and cosy with everything you would need. Josephine was very professional and made the booking/access to the flat very straightforward. We had a lovely weekend and will definitely be back.

There was nothing we did not like however the stairs in the close were slightly bumpy (outwith owners control). This would only be an issue if you were elderly or had mobility issues.

Great location, very quiet area, nice clean accommodation. Well stocked crockery, cutlery, cooking pans and utensils. Plenty of towels, tea towels, bathroom well stocked with toilet rolls, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
