Very disappointing

I wasn't there long enough to find out.

If you want a hot shower after a long day then dont bother coming here! We had been working on site all day and were incredibly desperate for a HOT shower, only to be met with a freezing cold shower and an even frostier attitude from the staff. We called the number to complain, a random man appeared and told us it was fine, we explained it was literally cold water and this was the beginning of a heated and unpleasant argument. Apparently you have to choose between heating and a shower - you cant have both due and you have to jiggle the tap whilst attempting to shower, to get the temperature stable. At times it became scolding hot and back to freezing. The owner ended up calling us, he was rude and down right nasty from the beginning, we explained our concerns and asked for it to be fixed. He got angry, the conversation got heated. Yes, words were said, but at no point did he act like a professional and attempt to difuse the situation. Instead, He threatened to bring the random man back to the flat and apparently "it wouldn't end well for us". He told us to leave the flat, he said he will drag us out and said it isnt the 1st time he has done this to customers so he was happy to do it again, he kicked us out because we argued with him and apparently were "cheeky" to him and his staff. We were asking for the bare minimum, a hot shower!!! 10pm we were booted out in the middle of a Scottish winter with nowhere to go and refused a full refund because we apparently messed up the bed and threatened him (no we didn't, we were upset and tiered, not violent) he wanted compensation for a few items disturbed, we explained that we wanted a full refund, he still refuses! He offered us 50% back if I didn't do a review.

not just a room, but a small apartment, easy to get into, very clean. In good shape. Easy to get around Largs and to the ferry

Largs self catering flat

They place was fantastic the owner Jason can't be nicer the flat is 3 minute walk to the town centre there is a farmers market on a Saturday a Morrisons a farmfoods on your door step funfare for the kids on the front and a weatherspoons you can get the ferry to millport ..

The property was very good ,very well equipped , very clean, very comfortable , very close to all amenities , shops , beach , restaurants , etc. I would definitely recommend this property , also very safe for our pet cocker spaniel with a back garden sealed off from neighbouring houses, we could let our dog play with peace of mind , Jason was a fantastic host.

Good value for money

The apartment looked much better than expected and was comfortable. Had everything we needed for the stay, even washing machine. Close to everything, no need to get taxis around the town. Nothing was further than 10 minutes walk in Largs from this apartment

Location wise it was great, close to town and everything else to be perfectly honest l. However the street itself did not feel safe and there were a lot of people coming and going into the building at weird times of night. The front doors to the building kept on being opened by someone and people just kept going in and out. The times I was in there alone, I felt of edge.

The flat was not clean. There was dirt and hair everywhere. The grill pan had been left unwashed. The extractor fans in the kitchen and bathroom are thick with dirt.There were pots and a frying pan but no casserole dishes, or anything to put inthe oven.the cooker was not clean and the microwave was stained and the surface chipped.

Excellent ground floor flat with fantastic facilities, in a good location.

All facilities there including washing machine, central heating, WIFI and TV including Netflix. Good location, comfortable and access to back garden. Was able to have the dogs there too.

Only thing was difficulty in getting keys back in the lock box at the end of the stay. A cheap second hand coffee table in the lounge would be a good idea. Saves the risk involved with putting cups on the floor.
