Central, dog friendly cosy apartment very close to Largs beach and local amenities!

Great central location, very close to the beach and with local pubs, shops and restaurants just a minute away. Our bedroom was situated at the back of the property so it was quiet at night.

The property was lovely and dog friendly. Nice and cosy. There was a water stain mark down one wall of the bedroom but this was generally irrelevant on the grand scale of things as the property was otherwise clean and comfortable.

The location allowed me a well needed rest.

Fantastic location , good powerful shower.

The uncomfortable bed, the smell on the bedding and towels was a little musty and what looked like dried up spilled food on the bedside table and there was a doggy odour particularly noticeably in the bedroom. Very noisy at night out back .

This was my second visit and will likely make a third but a mirror would make a huge difference!

Location superb. Lots of spare towels., toilet rolls even some toiletries. Coffee and tea provided. Some milk sachets too! - ideal for getting by when arrive.

No mirror close to a plug so I could see what I was doing when drying my hair. There could easily be a long one put in the hall or in the bedroom or even in the lounge. Squeaky bed!

Very welcoming feel and the location is perfect for the Cumbrae ferry and eateries. It was spotlessly clean.

Great location, good facilities with room for improvement

Location. Great shower. Kitchen had everything you’d need for a long stay, including condiments, tea, coffee etc. Large wardrobe with plenty of hangers. Good WiFi.

Building issues with dampness, slight musty smell when walking into accommodation. Full size ironing board needed, struggled to iron with small table top board. Mattress needing replaced (lumpy)

Great stay in Largs.

Good location, near shops and restaurants,railway station, bright. Water was always hot, and the cooker was reliable and easy to use.

Parking is clearly an issue, even unloading and loading the car. WiFi was poor, and the television reception quality was intermittent. Windows do not filter out much of the noise from the main road below. the flat has a damp issue, particularly around an electrical socket, which was labelled do not use.

Great location, up to date kitchen and bathroom.

Very dated and tired and dusty furniture and rooms, except kitchen and bathroom. Only basic hand wash and toilet paper provided, no toiletries. Pity the new shower was mouldy, shower head black, not clean and the drain blocked. Same with the kitchen, new, but fridge dirty.

Perfectly located off main street. It is very quiet and peaceful. Easy walk to train station and right next to Ferry terminal. Great wee pub across the rod The Geirge. Very reasonable prices.

We loved our stay at Pier Head, excellent location for a Largs visit if you want a comfortable base.

Self-catering apartment. Top kitchen and bathroom facilities, otherwise comfortable and homely. Fantastic location in the heart of Largs, just of the main road and close to the seafront and the ferry. Very attentive owner and family available to answer questions. Very well equipped in the kitchen, excellent hot water supply. We'll be back!

The block the apartment is located in feels a bit run-down in the stairwell. This is not unusual in the area - I guess it will get a doing at some point. The apartment is very typical of the area and the kitchen and bathroom facilities were modern, outstanding. Wifi worked well, etc.

Great location, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, close to all amenities.

Unfortunately the Viking festival was in full swing so parking was very difficult as it covered the seafront carpark and the side roads were completely full of parked cars so had to park a distance away and walk in with our bags. OK for me not so good for my wife who has a lung condition. Can't blame hosts though, not anyone's fault just wished we had known.

The property is basically the perfect location for getting about, it’s very secure and for it being on the main bit of road it’s surprisingly quiet! We enjoyed staying here very much and it was a good base for a few days of exploring, plus all the amenities needed to cook meals and wash clothes etc if needed, it fit our needs perfectly! We would definitely return if we were welcome lol for sure!!

The only down side (nothing major) was the bed was quite creaky so we were interrupting one another occasionally at night, and the only other thing was the cleaner and his son turned up about 35 minutes before check out time and asked us how long we would be so they could come in and clean and were on the street outside the gate waiting as we left, it seemed a little rushed, but thankfully we were packed and ready to go anyway so that wasn’t really a big deal just unexpected lol.

The apartment was right in the middle of town close to the ferry and shops. The accommodation was old but the kitchen and bathroom were renovated and very modern. The bad was comfortable.

The accommodation was a little hard to find as it tucked down between two buildings.
