Pier Head

Absolutely Fantastic location, couple of minutes from the train station, ferry, shops, pubs, beach. Place was clean & tidy & the bed was comfy. It has everything you need for a lovely stay away. We got the ferry over to Cumbrae which only took less then 15 minutes & there is a connecting bus to Millport if you fancy a day out to a lovely Scottish Island. Very detailed messages,with pictures, & good communication from the hosts with information about how to get to the property, collection of keys & pictures of front door, alleyway etc which was really helpful.

I should have booked more than one night & stayed longer 😊

Returned to this booking again as we love the location, clean apartment and overall affordability, its one of the best in Largs overall and we have stayed in a fair few. I doubt you could find better locationwise! Always have a great time in Largs and this is the best base!

Theres not much to not like, the entrance way is a bit outdated with the older carpet etc but that actually has nothing to do with the property itself once youre inside, which is modern and very comfortable for 2 - there is also seagull noise very early but thats inevitable 😅

I would have preferred 2 pillows in the bed it would have been more comfortable

Central location, handy for amenities. Large enough for 2 people. Clear instructions for entry into flat. Cooker in kitchen looked clean.

Flat was not clean. Although carpets were vaccumed etc there were a lot of faults. Bedroom wall was badly damp with large stains, damp stains in living room. Shower room did not lock and floor had dust on it. We did not use shower as part of the bottom had what looked like black mould on it, which looked as if it had not been thoroughly cleaned for a while. Kitchen floor was sticky. No washing up liquid and hand soap and shower gel almost empty and what was there was watered down. Contacted owner who offered for housekeeping to return but we were only there 2 nights. Thought about coming home early due to condition of flat. I have asthma and I feel the flat was not good for my health.
