Well furnished and clean but very cramped

The apartment was well furnished and adequately equipped.

The apartment was tiny with very little room to move for two people with luggage. We had to pay extra for bed linen and towels, as advertised, but the linen was poor quality. The flat sheet wasn't large enough to tuck around the mattress, which had a plastic-like cover, so the bottom sheet would move constantly and felt uncomfortable. We only got 2 small sized bath towels and no hand towels. Pool towels were not available. We had to make up the bed ourselves and strip it again before departure. We found this apartment at short notice as we had to change our travel plans otherwise we would have never booked it.

ATTENTION! In this hotel apparently bed sheets and towels are provided with additional charges(per person!!). I did not notice it during my booking and was surprised when I was asked if I need those on my arrival. So after I had to wait one hour to get my bed sheets and make my bed by myself. Towels were clean, but with old stains. Ventilation is very loud in the room. Wifi speed is close to 0. In the bathroom no even small soap for hands. The room is nice, the service - not really.

Great spot to do hikes and taste wines

Beautiful view, clean and comfortable place. The water pressure to shower was amazing and it was very quiet to sleep at night. It was a also great to have an induction kitchen available, making something was very quickly. Loved that there were 2 wineries within 15mins walk and could also walk to the town and the Calanques!

The first night, we didn't think about it and did the dishes with warm water, so we didn't have enough to shower with. We also missed to ask for linen and towels during the reservation. Thankfully Jacques was very helpful and still gave us some, though I'd have preferred not have to make the bed myself during vacation :)

No hospitality at all

manager is very intimidated and makes your stay very uncomfortable. the building is according to the price but they actually don’t give you the basic (toilet paper, small soaps .. nothing) you have to pay extra for towels and sheets. one of the beds smell so bad we could sleep (humidity smell) please be aware that is no going to be you little place, you’re going to pay to feel like an intruder.

Nice place near centre of Cassis

We had the one-bedroom apartment. It is spacious and modern, with a good bed and a great shower. The terrace was very nice and has some better relaxing chairs vs the studio, which I believe makes it more interesting. Very nice pool with good loungers. Free parking on site a great plus in Cassis. Nice views from the terrace. It is only a 15 minute, downhill walk to the centre. We visited in September, when it was very doable, but I can imagine that the way back uphill in summer heat is not so nice.

Be aware that this home contains not only 3 different appartments for rent, but also the house of the owner / manager himself. He is a very gentle, quiet guy and certainly not intrusive, but it feels more as if you are at a chambre d’hotes, you do not have your own vacation home. You also share the pool with the other appartments. The home and certainly the pool area is also right next to a fairly busy road, one of the main ones into town. Thus, it is not a very quiet place. Not too big of an issue, and it is quiet at night though. The kitchen is a bit small in order to make a decent meal. There are only 2 burners on the stove, the counter is quite small, and the overall equipment is not very rich. The haidryer was missing.

Fantastic but somewhat expensive town, small but excellent renovated apartments

Cassis is a relatively small village in beautiful surroundings. Definitely a jewel on the French Med coast! Maison Julou is newly constructed/ renovated with 3 well furnished guest apartments adjacent to the house of the owners. The house has a very welcome and excellent pool and a nice area for seating. The owners are helpful and hospitable. Although still learning how to make sure guests are ok, they are always ready to help.

It did not bother us, but some families might object to the owner living in the same house as the apartments. The studio apartment is quite small (we only used it as the kids' bedroom). Another thing to know is that Cassis is built on a few hills around the central port, so although distances are relatively small, walking can be quite strenuous and parking space in town is limited, so not the best place to stay if you have difficulty walking.

Des petites choses matérielles à compléter : une planche à découper, le nombre de verres et de bols, une multiprise pour la bouilloire, la cafetière et le grille pain et un balai dans la location

Le logement n’est pas adapté à l’habitation….

L’emplacement est bon, mais je ne recommanderais pas ce logement.

Tout d’abord, le lavabo de la salle de bain fuit à l’intérieur du meuble, où de la moisissure noire s’accumule déjà. L’évacuation de la douche était bouchée, ce qui faisait déborder l’eau sur le sol et s’infiltrer dans tous les coins, jusque dans la cuisine et la chambre. Chaque soir, nous devions laver le sol à cause de l’eau. Pendant tout notre séjour, il a plu, et les fenêtres de l’appartement ne sont pas étanches, l’eau coulait donc sur le sol. Nous avons dû utiliser nos propres serviettes pour éponger l’eau afin d’éviter qu’elle n’endommage nos appareils électroniques. Il n’y a aucun rideau sur la porte principale, entièrement transparente, ce qui nous mettait mal à l’aise lorsque des personnes passaient devant. Globalement, le logement est très humide et étouffant, on a l’impression d’être dans un sous-sol. L’appartement n’était pas très propre. D’ailleurs on nous a demandé de payer 20 euros en espèces pour le ménage, alors que le sol n’était pas lavé et qu’il y avait des cheveux des précédents occupants partout donc nous avons dû nettoyer nous-mêmes. Il est donc étrange d’avoir dû payer 20 euros pour le ménage qui n’était pas fait pour nous 🙂 Dans la cuisine, il n’y a aucun produit de base comme du sel, ce n’était pas mentionné dans l’annonce, c’est un détail, mais ce serait appréciable de la part de l’hôte. Nous n’avions également qu’un seul sachet de thé pour deux personnes pour quatre nuits…. La femme de ménage, arrivée à 9h50 (alors que le check-out était à 10h), nous a demandé de sortir les poubelles, alors que cela n’était pas indiqué dans la description du logement. On ne comprend donc toujours pas pourquoi nous avons payé 20 euros pour le ménage. L’hôte Jacques d’ailleurs nous a jamais répondu dans la messagerie du Booking. L’emplacement est bon, mais je ne recommanderais pas ce logement.

Endroit parfait pour visiter Cassis, bien situé et proche de la gare. Le confort du logis, joliment décoré. L'hôte

Le confort, les lits et la literie, la propreté, la propriété, l'emplacement.

L'éclairage du salon et l'inconfort du canapé. La menace de retenir des fonds si nous laissions de la vaisselle sale ou la cuisine en désordre. L'obligation de faire et de défaire nous-mêmes les lits.

Très décevant

Cassis et son massif des calanques

Accueil de l'hôte froid, tout autant que le logement (un ancien garage attenant à la maison) mal isolé, inchauffable avec le système réversible . Une vue jardin annoncée, alors que la baie vitrée donne sur l'accès aux stationnements, les allers et retours des autres clients, aussi bien à pied qu'en voiture sont, top pour l'intimité, j'imagine l'été ! (Voir photo) Un propreté limite de la SDB (joint et montants de porte de douche, noir de champignons, plinthes abimées. (Voir photo) Attendez vous a faire votre lit en arrivant car le linge de maison est en sus (soit, c'est annoncé ds le détail du logement) au même titre que la fermeture saisonnière de la piscine "chauffée à 32C" comme le stipule bien gros l'annonce (a quoi bon chauffer une piscine à Cassis à 32 en été !!!) En résumé, une annonce trompeuse ou toutes les photos sont une compilation des différents logements ! Attention, Loterie qd vous arriverez... Pour finir, Monsieur "Jaques", merci encore pour la leçon de vie lors de notre départ : "vous n'aviez qu'à vous habiller si vous aviez froid!!! 20 ans d'hôtellerie pour en arriver là !!!

Week-end sympathique mais nous n’avons pas profiter du logement comme nous le voulions car nous n’y étions pas très à l’

La literie, la salle d’eau avec toilettes ouverts sans porte, énormément d’humidité et de condensation, pas de rideau occultant pour se couper du jour, bruit de la VMC tres présent, le supplément pour le linge de maison qui n’inclut pas d’avoir le lit fait.

Sehr schöne, abgeschlossene Anlage mit nur wenigen Ferienwohnungen. Jacques ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Wir werden die Ferienwohnung weiter empfehlen und möchten gerne noch einmal hinfahren.

Man muss etwas den Berg rauf und runter laufen um in den Ort zu gelangen. Dafür hat man eine schöne Aussicht und ruhige Lage. Uns hat es nichts ausgemacht😉

Comodo appartamento a Cassis

Appartamento molto carino, in zona tranquilla, un po’ fuori dal centro. C’è una bella piscina riscaldata, con lettini, parcheggio. È a 15-20 minuti a piedi dal centro (il ritorno in salita). Due stanze matrimoniali e un bagno. Letti comodissimi. La zona giorno è più ampia e la cucina ben fornita, con microonde, lavastoviglie e macchinetta Nespresso. Lavatrice in comune se serve. Lenzuola e asciugamani opzionali a pagamento

Una stanza è un po’ piccolina, e senza armadio, c’è solo un mobiletto. Per noi perfetto, eravamo in 3 amiche, ma in 4 adulti saremmo stati un po’ stretti).

Trop cher pour ce que c'est. Dommage

La piscine était bien et l'emplacement était parfait.

L'hôte était désagréable on aurait dit qu'on le dérangeait en permanence c'était gênant et les places de parking personne ne respecte l'emplacement qu'on nous donnes du coup on ne sait pas où ce garé. C'est dommage trop de petits problèmes qui pourraient être vite réglé.

Endroit calme proche à pied du centre ville, logement très propre et bien équipé, piscine bien entretenue, propriétaire très accueillant, serviable et discret. Nous avons déjà communiqué cette adresse à des amis et nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour un séjour plus long.

L’accueil était chaleureux et bienveillant ! L’établissement en lui même est absolument parfait, que ça soit au niveau de la propreté mais également au niveau de la qualité des équipements ! Je le recommande !
