Beautiful views and a perfect location

The location was perfect, and the space was very clean. We have stayed in this complex before, and the view is heaven on earth. All the beds were extremely comfortable, even the pullout couch. The kitchen was well stocked with a variety of spices and oils, and had plenty of dishes for cooking. Being on the top floor provided us with gorgeous views of the water and sunsets, even whales! We loved having a telescope to watch them breaching in the distance. We could hike down to Hideaways beach as well as walk down the street to The One Hotel, and use their beach. The owners did a great job with this place, but it was management that dropped the ball a bit.

I have never had to buy my own papertowels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and soap before. We have stayed all over the world, and this was a first. The lockbox never worked, but luckily the door was unlocked when we got there, so we were able to get in. They also didn't have hand soap when we first arrived, but brought some the next day when I asked for it. I realize they were in the midst of a remodel, but having extra paper goods should still be a must have. There was also no power at the wall by the TV, so someone had to bring an extension cord in order for us to use the outlets.

Views are amazing. Sunsets. Sunrise. In awwww! And the condo has tons of living area. Perfect for a big family. Kitchen is large. Bedrooms are big and spacious. Lots of closets.

Seemed a little dated. But then again, so am I! 🤣 One of the patio sun chairs was broken. I reported it the first day, and was told that it was “under warranty” and that it would be replaced soon. Not sure when that “soon” is. We were there 7 days, and no one came by to replace it or pick it up. Also, I wish the place had a portable flip phone (for some nice Hawaian music. Always fun to Bluetooth into a portable speaker to play some nice music. The speaker they had near the screen door was circa 1985, and did not have blue tooth. One of those break dancing radio speakers that were used in the break dancing movies! 🤣 Also, the kitchen was beautiful, but there was a white elephant in the kitchen. A big, ugly refrigerator that was next to the regular (beautiful) refrig. We asked that they remove it because it was in the way and it was an eye sore, but they stated that the owner uses it to store all his/her extra wine bottles and drinks. It literally was about 4’ in height, 3’ wide , and just hideous. One last thing, hopefully the jets in the master tub are working for future tenants. Annoying that we were looking forward to a bubble bath with the jets, and they never worked. We were told that the plumber would arrive AFTER we departed. I know we reported it halfway thru our 7 day stay. So kind of late, which I realize. Hope they do fix it for the next future tenant. Otherwise, don’t advertise the jacuzzi jet tub in the master in the description.

Very large, High end unit with a couple areas of neglect. Beautiful location and ocean balcony.

Large, older unit. Exceptional at one time, some years ago. Beautiful older telescope. Huge ensuite bathroom, very nice. Netflix available. Great place for walking. Beautiful in all directions.

Older unit which, for the most part, has been gently used. The windows need attention! Some are not to be opened, understandably, so why not swap out parts from them to others. I understand not replacing all windows but pay some attention to the opening/closing mechanisms. The part behind the handle needs to be removed and greased on many. One window’s scissor mechanism was laying on the balcony when we arrived. Most were hard to open and close. The floor in a couple of spots was terrible (water damage). These spots can be repaired by using sections of the closet floor. Complimenting flooring can be used to replace closet flooring.

All in all a vacation of a lifetime!

The main thing……no air conditioning. It was very hot when we were there and say what they want about the trade winds it did not help. Would have been nice after being out most of the day and come back to some cool air.

Great stay

Room is huge. Beds are comfortable. Gorgeous view and very close to Puu Poa beach, which is excellent for snorkeling. It is convenient to have washer and dryer in the room. snorkeling gears, beach chair, beach toys are provided.

Decoration is a little bit outdated.
