"The apartment was perfect, the pictures don’t do it justice. Huge rooms and a lovely balcony which was ideal for sitting out. Thank you for a great staty!"

8 / 10Excellent·Sep 2026
Great location, easy to walk everywhere, the apartment is very spacious and has comfy beds, the balcony is nice to sit out on with a glass of wine or a coffee. We were able to park outside. We had some issues getting in the front door but these were quickly resolved and the host kindly brought us extra coffee and sweets the following day to apologise.
Although it is spacious the apartment is very sparsely furnished and is quite basic, we are travelling around Sicily and we hoped for somewhere a bit more comfy where we could cook and relax. The bathroom had a musty damp smell and the shower is not very powerful at all. A couple of the lamps didn’t work, it just felt like it needed a bit more attention to detail.

The bedrooms were large and beds comfortable. 5-10 minutes walk to Ortigia. Quiet at night.
The kitchen is very small and basic. It’s really not suitable for cooking. (You need to eat out which is very easy in Siracusa.) The bathroom looks amazing but the shower was underpowered. There was a sewer smell on last day.
