The hidden gem in Finale Ligure

I had an amazing stay at San Giovanni in Finale Ligure. The one-bedroom studio is beautifully decorated, cozy, and has a lovely little balcony overlooking the church — such a peaceful spot to relax. The location couldn’t be better: close to everything you might need, from cafes and shops to the beach. Marcos, the host, was absolutely wonderful — incredibly kind, flexible, and genuinely welcoming. He made everything super smooth and effortless from check-in to check-out. You can really tell he cares about his guests. I would absolutely recommend this place to family and friends. A truly memorable and seamless experience — thank you, Marcos

A nice place in central Finale Ligure

The apartment is situated very nicely in a back alley behind the dome. Restaurants and the beach are easy to reach on foot. Check-in was uncomplicated and flexible, and the owner is very friendly. The room is large enough for two, with a well-equipped kitchen and a large bed.

There was no space to store clothes in, so we had to leave everything in our bags or spread around the room. There was only one chair for two people, and the chair was way too low for the table, so it was not really possible to sit anywhere except on the bed. We were only provided one blanket for two people, so one of us was a bit cold at night.

Really great in the old part of Finale ligure, close to the beach and a market square

Marco and his wife are really great hosts! Marco showed us the town and helped us with parking the car. The appartment is in the old village of Finale Ligure. This is really Italy.

Everything was fine. The bathroom was smelly in the morning.

Everything perfect! The staff is very nice and helpful and did much more for us than expected, it's the perfect location, all brand new, and we really like Finale Ligure to relax and have fun.

It is located in the middle of historic town which is wonderful! Just be mindful about parking arrangement in advance or let them know to prepare. We booked at last minute and didn’t plan properly.

Great apartment, perfect location and amazing host

The location was perfect right in the centre next to the most beautiful church I’ve ever seen. Marco was an incredible host, booked us dinner, drove us from parking to the accommodation and back again. Family room perfect for us as a family of 4. Bed extremely comfortable! Grazie Marco!!

the flat was very complete with everything you need to a confortable stay.

No breakfast but it is not an hotel so it is fine. You can think in maybe not good value for thw price, but thw thing is ths only 4 star hotel in town is very old and it has not been renewws, instead the apartment in San Giovanni is all new or better renewed. So it is a great option I would say.

best place to stay in Finale Ligure!

The San Giovanni was located in the center of town, next to a gorgeous basilica. Although you are a 3 minute walk to make square and the beach, the hotel room was quiet at night. The room is perfect for 4 people, a king bed and a bunk bed. Marco was also amazing. He made us dinner reservations at some of his favorite places which were all outstanding. My favorite was Pomella, which was only 100 meters from the hotel. All in all, this was a perfect place and I plan on returning.

Marco was always available and answered immediately. He is very customer friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay very much. The little bijou lacks nothing and is very clean. We will be very happy to come back. His restaurant recommendation was fantastic too.

We had a great time and we will definitely be staying there again!

We booked the economical suite, and it was comfortable for 3 (2 adult and a baby). Shampoo and towels were available. The location is superb (right next to the Duomo in Finale). The host, Marco, was very helpful. He picked us up from the train station (which is a walking distance), showed us the room which was ready for us. He had us all set up for a whole day at the beach, while it can get very crowded in July. He was reachable and always smiling.

It is pricey, but the location and hospitality make it worthwhile. The price does not include breakfast, but there is a great breakfast place just in front of San Giovanni so we were all set.

Vacanza mini super organizzata

Tutto perfetto. L appartamento super geniale tutto strategico sembra gigante invece anche il minimo angolo pensato per l'accoglienza dell ospite. Posto in centro senza aver bisogno dell auto. Abbiamo parcheggiato non lontano dal centro a 300 mt e abbiamo girato tranquillamente a piedi. Marco super disponibile ci ha dedicato il suo tempo e consigliato e prenotato dove mangiare.

Ein Juwel in der Altstadt

Die wunderbare Lage mitten in der Altstadt in einer Altbauwohnung, die toll renoviert war. Marco war sehr nett und höflich und hat mir sogar angeboten, mein Gepäck aus dem Auto zu holen und das, obwohl ich erst kurz vor knapp um 23:30 gebucht habe.
