Beautifully kept quiet place; exceptionally friendly and helpful people; excellent dining at the nearby hotel; interesting ethnic breakfast; wonderful hike from the doorstep through alpine meadows to the Eagle's Eye viewpoint; half an hour's drive to the spectacular Struilitsa Eco Trail.
Don't be in a hurry getting there - the overhanging rocks of the gorge you drive through on the way make for a stimulating experience, but beware the many potholes.
At the lodge, make sure you have access to google translate if you don't speak Bulgarian.

Top location, restaurant and groceries nearby, rooms are extremely clean, big and spacious, the staff is very nice and polite.
