Excellent stay in beautiful location.

The room was extremely clean with an amazing view from the hillside down to the valley. Milka and her family were so kind and welcoming, cooking delicious food for breakfast. Despite the language barrier we managed well with Google Translate! It’s only a 5 minute walk into Jagodina village to a good restaurant. It’s a beautiful location and we enjoyed walking from the door to the Eagle’s Eye look out and the Devils Throat and Yagodina Caves are a short drive away. Good shower, comfortable bed and the wi-fi worked well - it was even possible to stream Netflix if you wanted to. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse. Thank you Milka!

Great spot for exploring Yagodina valley

Beautiful area and house. The rooms are impeccable, the family very nice and I enjoyed the breakfast. The surroundings are magical and the panoramic window in the room gave me a great view. Thank you!

True home in breathtaking Rhodopi mountains

The guest house is located in a unique and amazing place itself! So it is a great starting from for many explorations and hikes around the area including some breathtaking places like Eagle's Eye, Yagodinska cave, Devil's bridge and so many more. The room was super clean and spacious. All the facilities were in great conditions and everything was very convenient. Every detail at the house says how much work was put in each detail. Amazing view from each point of the garden and rooms, cozy small corners to make you feel like home. And the best part are the hosts! They are so open, helpful and will do everything to make your stay memorable. We received some great recommendations around the area and enjoyed our hikes a lot! Food is just amazing! We are still remembering each day how we drank herbal tea with dandelion honey each evening to recover from long days exploring. Such tasty and homie food, everything is local and fresh! Breakfast is served every morning, and we highly recommend to try Milka's cooking as well for dinner - it is the best way to finish a day. We hope to return again to see more around the area, to chat with Milka and her husband and to get more of their amazing herbal tea :)

Peaceful and welcoming nature-escape

If you want to have an absolutely wonderful experience, stay here! The family are so welcoming, the area is absolutely beautiful and the food is delicious. It's such a peaceful place with great balcony and outside space, a jacuzzi with a view of the trees and mountains, and a cozy room upstairs with a fireplace. We even saw a live performance of traditional Bulgarian bagpipes and danced around. One of the best places we ever stayed.

Magnificent place, exceeding expectations. Will certainly visit in the future.

It is difficult to distinguish the positive from the negative aspects of the place, precisely because there are no negatives. Starting with the welcoming hosts, for whom the first goal is to make their guests feel welcome and cared for. I continue with the magnificent cuisine, thanks for which are due only to the hosts. They prepare both breakfast and dinner. Everything is prepared within the day and in adequate time after ordering (it is good, if there is a larger order, to say at least an hour in advance so that they can prepare it without shoots). The location of the place is convenient for starting several treks, for which it is worth staying as long as necessary.

Perhaps, the only bad thing I can share is something that is not entirely up to the hosts. Namely, the road is not paved, but with stones. If you intend to visit, but have a low car (less than 4 toes off the ground) you will need to be very careful to keep the scratches of the vehicle as minimal as possible.

WoW!! if you are in the Yagodina area, This is the place to stay ! the hosts are very nice, and dedicated to attend to the guest’s needs the guest house has beautiful views all around YOU MUST EAT HERE !! i have been in Bulgaria for a month now, and this is the BEST food at the most reasonable prices I have yet experienced this place makes a great base for seeing the Yagodina cave, hiking to the eagle’s eye, hiking to the Devil’s bridge etc etc come and stay at least 3 nights … this area is a paradise.

there are no negatives i just wish I could have communicated more with the hosts as they seemed to be wonderful people. they have Bulgarian and Russian … my English, Italian and German were not useful

We were very delighted by our stay in the house! The view from the room (and from the bed itself) was truly amazing - this is the thing we liked most! The hosts were very nice and helpful people. The traditional Rhodopean dishes were homemade & delicious. The village of Yagodina itself is a wonderful place - you can find great nature, silence, serenity and so much more to offer.

Lovely view in a special place

The guesthouse is very cute! Our room had a lovely view of the mountains and village. The host was very kind and responsive. She cooks really delicious dinners. The guesthouse is located very close to the path to Orlovo Oko. The area is super quiet -- no barking dogs.

Although the bathroom was perfectly clean, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the pipes.

A great spot on the hill looking over Yagodina

Setting on a spot looking over Yagodina is superb. Dining al fresco was a lovely experience. Milka and her family are very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Dinner was based on tasty local cuisine. Prices are very reasonable for international travellers.

Parking was a bit tricky with some manoeuvring required. No English however we managed with Google and our phrase book (Milka also arranged for a friend to come over and explain things to us, so they made a real effort)
