Royal Mile Old Town Apartment

Excellent location and great value for money given the time of year that we stayed. Everything was clean and tidy.

The arrival instructions said that someone would meet us at the property. No one was there and had to contact the owner for a code to the lock box for the key. It was a little awkward waiting around outside while waiting for a response. Might be a good idea to update this and maybe send a code for the lock box before arrival for a smoother check in process.

The location was amazing safe and just off the mile

The location was ideal, as was the fact that it was self-contained and could accommodate more than two if needed. It was light and airy, clean and comfortable; which was all that I required. I could have dined in but I met friends and so we dined out.

That is was a flat so plenty of room.

The location was terrible. Even the taxi driver didn't understand where it was and dropped me at the wrong location. I only found the place with the help of 2 wonderful Canadian women. One who helped me drag my suitcase, while the other ran around looking for it! Surely the owners could have given some directions. For anyone who wants to book, the flat is through a gate opposite St Patrick's church. Turn right and it is the first flat. There was black mold in the bathroom which you could smell as soon as you went in. Also no toilet paper. The sofa bed in the lounge room needs replacing as the springs have gone in the middle.
