We loved being on the Royal Mile with all the shops and pubs. The location for getting around and seeing things was ideal for us. The only caution that I would offer is that since it is such a busy area it can have more noise than you would like. It was not a problem for us and we were very happy with the apartment. The little coffee shop next door to the entrance is a lovely place to grab a bite and hot beverage. The loft was very comfortable and worked well for us.

Fantastic location on the Royal Mile- apartment was great and had everything you needed. Our only issue was having one key for a family and having to navigate getting key. You pick up and drop off key at Ibis hotel. It would be nice to have key box at the location. Other than that it was great!

The property was located in an ideal location. Once we arrived we were able to walk every where. Downside is it was noisy because of location.
There were 3 of us and only one key. This made it a little difficult to do anything separate. It would have been nice to have at least one more key.

Overall, this was a great choice for us. However, when we arrived, the boiler was offline (no heat or hot water). Techs were dispatched promptly the next morning and found gas line condensate trap was clogged up. This is a normal PM item on these units. Better maintenance and pre-stay prep (e.g verify boiler is running prior to guest arrival) could have spared us the inconvenience.
