Duplex2 at the entrance of Venice, cozy and relax

The apt was very central to our planned activities. It was so nice to leave the busy streets to the apt quiet. Easy to find and well appointed. Liked that we had access to a laundry machine. Fabrice was a great host, informative and helpful and very responsive to our questions.

Mostly everything. This duplex is actually amazing, has everything you need, super comfortable, cozy and 2 bathrooms. The location to main train station is great. Area nearby is very vibey and busy, but the apartment itself far enough to be quiet (about 5min walk from busy areas) while the main attractions eg Doge’s Palace, Grand Canal, St Mark’s Basilica are a pleasant stroll away. Would highly recommend.

It’s not a negative as I loved this place so much, but maybe some extra blankets? I was a little cold

We were a group of five (including a senior, three adults, and a 7-year-old child) and had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very well-structured. On the first floor, there is a kitchen, a dining area, a bathroom with a washing machine, and a sofa bed for two. The second floor features a double bed, another sofa bed, and a second bathroom, making it spacious enough for five people. (Note: The sofa bed on the second floor might be a bit cozy for two adults, but it worked fine for us). Having a bathroom on each floor and a fully equipped kitchen allowed us to balance dining out with cooking at home like locals. The washing machine was also a huge plus! Location-wise, it’s about a 5 to 10-minute walk from Santa Lucia Station. Most importantly, there is a route to the apartment without any bridges or stairs, which is a lifesaver when you have heavy luggage. The property is located in a quiet residential area with great security, as you pass through a large main gate before reaching the front door. It’s a peaceful spot but still very convenient for getting around Venice. The highlight of our stay was the host. He provided detailed directions to the apartment, a thorough guide to the facilities, and excellent local sightseeing tips. He was very responsive and quick to help with any requests. This was the only apartment stay during our Italy trip, and it was a fantastic experience living like a local. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Venice!

The property is very well located and accessible, close to all the main attractions, and easy to reach from the main parking area. The owner was exceptionally friendly and attentive. When we accidentally locked ourselves out on the first morning, they responded immediately and resolved the key issue without any delay, which we greatly appreciated.

The apartment felt quite chilly during our stay. The heating is controlled automatically by the owner, and although we requested a higher temperature setting, this was unfortunately not adjusted. As a result, the apartment remained colder than comfortable for us. Additionally, the hot water supply in the upper-floor bathroom shower was inconsistent, the hot water would come and go, making it difficult to have a comfortable and uninterrupted shower.
