The room was supposed to be non-smokimg but was not. Smelled like smoke and had to use allergy tablets which caused drowsiness during the trip. Also, there was no where to put things in the bathroom such as the soap. There is also no counter space and the mirror in the bathroom is very high.

Hard to find

Conveniently located near the train station and main bus drop off. It had a good towel rack and two bathrooms which was handy. Generally comfortable.

It was hard to find in the middle of the night. The place is not on google maps. There was some mould in one of the showers and one of the duvets was stained. There was a lot of unused unnecessary space.

Zero level of service. Requested for cup and was informed that no cups provided. Never been to a place of stay where cups were not provided. Would have been happy even with disposable cups hygienically packed. Was informed that cups were available at the common area but non were available.

The air conditioning was good and the location was very central to everything.

The property required extensive maintenance. The loose carpet on the stairs was a tripping hazard, the skirting boards were rotting with mould in the bathroom and the front door to the accomodation was falling apart. Staff came to clean our room and didn’t knock while we were inside before entering.

Literally 0 help from the staff, it’s as if they don’t exist - we stayed there for a week, and they refused to give us more than one toilet roll and 1 towel, which is outrageous - they’re only response when we asked was pay us an extortionate amount and we will bring you one - also the place is absolutely packed with mosquitos as well and you will get eaten alive by them

Never trust airbnb corporations pretending to be hotels.

The location was great, very close to the bus and train stations. Which is the reason we paid the unreasonably high price for this property.

The air conditioning was fixed at a very low temperature and the panel to control it was locked. Upon arrival, at 6pm, we noticed that we could not control the temperature and messaged the company immediately. Apparently they don't work after 5, so no one responded until the next day. They didn't know how to help us until they contacted the "Maintenance crew" and told us to press a button for 5 seconds to unlock the panel. It was the wrong button. After I figured out the correct button to press, we finally turned down the air conditioner. In case you made the mistake of booking with them, the correct button is the arrow pointing down. Even then, we had to close the internal room door that separated the room from the bathroom, because there was no insulation at all and the freezing cold was coming from the lobby in our room. Of course we got no sleep at all on the previous night, trying to get warm with a very light blanket that we found in the closet. Great way to start a vacation. The toilet seat was broken. Very unsanitary. Of course the room had a great view of the restaurant's chimney, who needs to see the grand canal, when booking a "grand canal suite". The staircase had a long red carpet, the metal shards that kept it it place were falling apart, it's a matter of time before someone has an accident. The Wifi had very low reception. No internet most of the time. Cleaning was, let's say adequate, but not thorough. You can check the other reviews and decide for yourself. Most people have reported the same shortcomings and the company does nothing about it. There was nothing in the room except a tv and a refrigerator. No kettle, no glasses, no dishes. Ironically they texted us to "not forget to wash the dishes" in their message asking us what time we were leaving, so they could prepare the "hotel" for the next tourist they were about to rip off.

Location was too far and impossible to find it .. took 2 hrs to find the property and they didn’t give us the passcode of the rooms till late in the evening .. no hot kettle Ac not working properly..

Sleeping with bed bugs, when the smell of sewage in the room wasn't keeping us awake

Location was fantastic. Couldn't fault it. The shower was good.

There was a strong smell of sewerage on 2 of the nights from the bathroom. Like really really bad. Made it hard to sleep. On the last morning we realised there were bed bugs in the bed. The TV remote didn't work, we found out it was because there was only one battery in the remote. The plugs beside the bed for charging phones didn't work. There was one plug that worked in the room which made it difficult to charge devices. This is a basic requirement when on holidays. It is over priced. It is priced the same as hotels and it is not that. It is not maintained well at all. It is more like a glorified hostel if I am being honest. The word Suite in its name is kinda of comical. I would say avoid this place. It is not as clean or well maintained as the photos would suggest.

Poor value for money

Good location for transport. Spacious room.

Our room (3) was in need of renovation. Paint had come off the walls and a big plaster patch had not been repainted. The bed linen was not as shown in the photo. There was no sofa in that kitchen area as shown in photo. The aircon was not allowed to be turned on despite it being warm in Venice (which was not detailed in the listing). The listing photos implied a private seating area through the bedroom door, however this is a communal area! No coffee making facilities. Very hard and uncomfortable bed.

I the property was well located in terms of transport and its 30 minutes from St. Marks square. The people who run this property are responsive and well organised.

I don’t think it had the most cleanest amenities. On top of that, the price point for what you’re getting isn’t that great. Temperature control and ventilation was an issue; however, for a short stay this place suffice.

Great Venice trip!

The room was just as described and even larger than anticipated. Would not recommend for light sleepers due to the location right on the grand Canal. That’s the part we enjoyed most about it is being right there so close to everything. We traveled to Venice by train so it was a perfect location to haul our luggage to. It was also perfect because we could walk anywhere from there. 20 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. St Mark’s Basilica. Doge’s Palace. Ponte De Rialto. And right across the entrance from the hotel was easy access to an iconic gondola ride on the grand Canal & through the quiet canals of the city. Make sure to stop in just before the bridge to the Foggy Mug cafe for a cappuccino, pastry and canal taxis, workers & people watching before you start your day.

Superb view of the canal

Fantastic location, stunning view from our room onto the canal!!! 5 min walk from Roma Pizzale (bus stop) and straight across over bridge is Santa Lucia train station (4 min walk). The room was very clean and comfortable, nice bed and lovely shower.

Venice 2024

The location was perfect very close to the train station. Views of the canals lovely. If you open the windows, it was nice to hear the hum of the boats going about their day 1st thing in the morning. The suite was very large, two bathrooms, huge living area (actually, wasted space, could be made into two rooms). Very clean and quiet. Comfortable bed. Good shower.

If your top floor room as we were. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs and then some. No lift, but we knew that. Should maybe put signs up where the communal room is. We found it last day. Didn't notice if coffee/tea making facilities were in there. But definitely none in the huge rooms we were in. Disappointed not able to make a coffee to start the day! No introductory maps or tourist information to help your stay, e.g. were to eat or go for coffee / breakfast in the morning. Most places leave little things like that which turn out to be helpful. Saying all that we did enjoy our stay. We'd stay again if they make small improvements.

Room ground was not stable when you walk all the ground moves they have on the facilities AC but its not there there is only heater and its very hot in the room and if you open the windows lots of insects will go in so i had a really bad experience and also the check in is on 3pm even if the room is ready and you are there you have to wait and the check out is 10am
