The property was very nice, with plenty of sleeping space and leisure space.

Washing machine that was not working, and stairs that had no hand rail at the top.

Excellent location and right on the water. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic location, right on the canal but near the end towards the open sea. You could sit on the doorstep, or in the bedroom, and watch the boats go by. It was absolutely magical, and surprisingly quiet (very effective double glazing). We had a few niggles on arrival (see below), and the beds are less than comfortable but otherwise the house is well equipped for its size and absolutely charming.

The bedding didn’t smell fresh and was a bit scrotty when we arrived, but was replaced satisfactorily the next day. Beds uncomfortable. Hence I score a 9 not a 10. One practical point, I wouldn’t recommend putting small children in the second bedroom if they tend to get up in the night, as the stairs are steep and begin near the entrance to that bedroom.
