Very clean and spacious , nicely decorated and warm. Great location for what we needed. Hope to return.

Parking a little bit tricky as close parking on street is 1 hr , short walk to residential street that had no restrictions.

Nice modernised flat in the centre of Penistone

Nicely modernised flat. Comfortable bed and sofa and well equipped kitchen. Nice to have 2 tvs. Friendly neighbours.

The big windows only have Venetian blinds so they do not block the light. Noisy as it is on a main road. Communal entrance needs vacuuming.

We loved being in Yorkshire from East London, and the apartment & location were perfect for our stay

We loved the location. We went to Cannon Hall Farm on the Friday and Penistone Agriculture Show on the Saturday. So glad we had the apartment - parking and traffic would have been a nightmare on the Saturday. Lots of shops for essentials. Parking we were lucky - managed to park down Church Street all nights and all day Saturday. And load and unload by the memorial.

For us the Sofa was a lot uncomfortable.

Overall fantastic experience and superb host, definitely recommend it.

The property is fantastic, the host is very helpful, we received the instructions in advance. The only thing is the host is not available to speak on call so if something is unclear, you have to chat with him or check instructions. The property is very nice, in a nice location, close to shops, supermarkets, petrol station, etc. Free street parking as well.

Host could have been available on call as well as sometimes it may be tricky if you arrive quite late in the evening and need help checking in.

Location was absolutely fantastic. The host was super helpful and friendly to speak to, we had all the information we could've asked for! The apartment was super clean and a great space for the 4 of us

Parking was a little tricky. We could only find 2 towels and 2 mugs but there were 4 of us staying. Other than that everything was great!

The location is ideal. Apartment is decorated lovely and the facilities of the apt are good.

Upon arrival the apt was not clean. The room fee includes £35 cleaning fee but evidently hadn't been cleaned for a while except for the bedding. Very dusty, bathroom was in need a very good clean, soap and scum residue, floor not clean. Some dishes and glasses weren't clean. We did advise the host. TV in bedroom was turned off at master switch as I was informed after my stay it is faulty.

Nice, well equiped and comfortable apartment, apart from a couple of issues.

No mirror in the bathroom. Couldn't watch the TV in the living room, sound and picture quality was very bad due to small ariel placed on top of the TV. TV in the bedroom didn't work at all. Bed linen was not ironed, looked like someone had slept in it, owner reasured me it was clean, just forgot to iron the bedding.......

spacious flat, useful location, clean, good general facilities - shower, bath, cooker, fridge, bed etc. all excellent

needed a blackout curtain in the bedroom as street light right outside the window. Had to improvise a blind with bin bags. Toaster a good idea in the kitchen; perhaps a bit light on utensils.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The adjacent restaurant The Vaults was very good. We both got two good night's sleep.

Secure Parking did not seem to be readily available although there was a free car park about 200 yards away. Some slight improvement could include provision of a toaster and bread knife.

Overall, we were very pleased with a cozy apartment at beautiful little town just outside Peak District with accessible shops nearby. Most importantly, the apartment was well refurbished except for a few minor things and was exceptionally neat and tidy just as we had liked! Everything seemed to be newly installed and we really like the decor. We also happened to meet one of the friendly neighbours. Our stay here brought our trip up by a notch - it was just the right place to come back to after our day trips.

Although the kitchen was very well refurbished, we could have done with a few things like a toaster and a mixing bowl The bedroom was a bit bright at night because of the outdoor light just outside - blackout curtains could help The kitchen window glass was broken, although it was still intact & we could have done with some instructions on how to operate the blinds and windows We couldn't figure how the bedroom TV would switch on.
