Good location

We had a very disappointing experience during our stay, which sadly overshadowed what should have been a a wonderful relaxing five days. After spending several hours by the pool, we were suddenly told to move from our loungers, despite there being no signs, ropes, or reserved notices in place when we arrived nor any hotel staff manning the pool area. When we asked to speak with the manager, the situation was handled in a shockingly unprofessional way. Instead of listening, he spoke over us, dismissed our concerns, and even made the insulting remark that “the English always complain when they don’t get their own way.” This was extremely rude and disrespectful, particularly given the cost of our stay. This was especially upsetting as our daughter is marrying a local man, and it was her future in-laws from Chiavari who recommended this hotel to us. With over 100 guests due to travel for the wedding, this would have been an ideal option, but sadly we cannot recommend it after such an experience. What could have been a wonderful stay turned into a visit we regret, and we left feeling uncomfortable and very let down. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at the Grand hotel Torre Fata

Friendliness of staff at reception and bar. Parking option I received for free due to some inconvenience on air conditioning and noise by railway. But as said it got compensated.

The aircondition, that was not controllable to a lower temperature. I made the staff aware of it. I compensated it by opening the window and because of the railway I used ear plugs

Excellent and I will certainly stay there when I next visit Chiavari.

The hotel is a superbly renovated art deco building from the 1930s with great views. Prime location in Chiavari which is one of my favourite places in Italy.

There was not enough wardrobe space, partly because the existing room configuration made it difficult for the interior architect. Secondly the "same day laundry" was disaster. Some items went missing and some returned items did not belong to me. Having said that I have to compliment the efficient hotel staff who made every effort and were able to resolve both situations.

Relax, swim, eat and sleep at this amazing hotel!

This hotel exceeded our expectations, the building architecture is great, facilities are perfect, swimming pool, beach access a perfect 15 minutes walk to the old town. The staff was amazing and very helpfull, Mr Ali showed us around the property! We initially booked two nights but booked three more nights extra, we have booked four more nights as there not that many hotels like this, at the beach with this amazing service in Ligure. Oh and the breakfast simply amazing, staff was perfect, having breakfast overlooking the see towards Portofino.
