Wonderful stay!

The Oltremare Soul House is a beautiful space that makes you feel special. Silvana has a special touch and creates an environment that is welcoming and comfortable. Such a lovely place, great for families. Across from the promenade and close by restaurants. Short walk to the City centre. I would love to return to Chivari just to stay at the Oltremare property. Silvana was extremely attentive and accommodated our requests without hesitation.

Perfect location, comfortable beds and an excellent host

This is the perfect spot for a couple or, as was our case, for friends traveling together. The rooms are beautiful - all three of them. Spotlessly cleaned each day and excellent quality, large and comfortable beds. The communal spaces are well set up for comfortable exchanges. Even if you are traveling alone you will feel like you have plenty of private space and a nice living area to relax outside of the bedroom. The shower was also good with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The location is perfect and plenty of street parking available along with the pass provided for free parking during our stay. Beautiful walks along the sea, plenty of cafes for coffee or a drink. A special note to the gelatoria just across the street who practically knew us by name before we left. Easy walk into the old town so once you arrive and park your car you are well settled in. The owner, Silvana, went out of her way to help us when our car had a flat tire. We ended up not being able to leave and she made it easy for us to extend our stay as well as speaking to the tow company when things got lost in translation.

Property is in quite place, on a 1st floor, also lots of restaurants around it. It is right next to seaside, which is very comfortable. It was incredibly easy to communicate with host

Visiting our Italian Family in Chiavari

We visit family in Chiavari/San Salvatore every year and over time, have stayed in a variety of accommodation types and standards, in various different locations. Some have been in excellent locations but with questionable standards whereas others have had excellent facilities but the location has been problematic. I can honestly say that Oltremale Soul Houses ticked every box. The location is perfect, right on the beach, very close to some excellent restaurants and a very short walk into the centre of Chiavari. The facilities and standards are exceptional. The property has been wonderfully renovated throughout, including a very modern kitchen with everything you need. There is a plentiful supply of breakfast items including ham, cheese, eggs, yoghurt, pastries and cereal bars as well as milk, fruit juice, tea bags and a coffee machine. Everything has been considered, there are even fold away sun loungers and a kayak to take to the beach and a parking permit which allows free parking along the seafront. The property owners, Silvana and Davide met us on arrival. They are lovely and very approachable, making it clear that they would do everything they could to ensure our stay in Chiavari was enjoyable and that they would be on hand throughout our stay, should we need them. There was a problem with the air-conditioning during our stay, but this was in no way the fault of Silvana or Davide. Their communication on the issue prior to arrival was first class and they were good enough to put two fans in each room, in order to make it comfortable. We would have had no hesitation giving a score of 10/10 for the accommodation, had it not been for the Aircon issue and we will definitely look to stay again when we visit next year (if you'll have us) 😁 Thank you both for your wonderful hospitality 💞

The property was perfect for our needs - the only issue was the Aircon not working during our stay (this has now been fixed) but we still had a wonderful time with family in Chiavari 😎

Great building in an interesting town........

Super staff, super clean room in an historic building. Great location to train and downtown by walking. You can tell the owner cares about their guests comfort. Fridge is stocked with basics you need on arrival. Town itself is great. Not overtouristed but just enough of what you need. Local people actually live here.

The room has issues from the noise on the side of the street. Motorbikes day and night. This is not the fault of the owner but had I been aware of this I would not have booked. I realize in a small city you will have some noise but this was excessive especially on the weekend.

Memorable Stay Across From Restaurants and the Beach in Chiavari Italy

Beautiful facility with 3 separate en-suite rooms to rent across from the beach in Chiavari, Italy. Beautifully appointed rooms in well maintained building just off the street. Clean, comfortable rooms with welcoming common area and abundant free snacks and water. Large refrigerator in shared kitchen, small refrigerator in room. Parking arranged at small public lot across the street at no charge.

For some reason was difficult to find on Google maps. Assure you have right address.

The house was clean and beautifully decorate. The couple who run the place are really kind and make one feel like at home. The beach is literally crossing the street and there are plenty of restaurants within distance walk.

Highly recommended, beautiful authentic house, clean, kind staff, sea side

The house is very well taken care of, people maintaining it are super friendly and are going out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The location is wonderful: you’re looking at the sea, nice restaurants and the old city are close by. The (shared) kitchen is well-equipped, there are Sun beds and everything you need. ‘Soul’ houses is an appropriate name: it gives you the rest and recharging you would expect from a perfect holiday

We didn’t mind that, but (1) keep in mind that the beach nearby is rocky (sand beach is within a 15min drive though) (2) it’s a bnb and it can get a bit ‘crowded’ in the kitchen/living room, but we managed to make new friends and have good social contacts with people in the two other apartments.

A fantastic p

The place is incredible! A wonderful high-ceiling house renovated with a perfect taste! The sea is just across a small road: you can see it from the living room. Amazing and welcoming hosts: Silvana, Valentina and the girls made us very welcome and they were very supportive during our stay! The room and kitchen were always incredibly clean. One can eat out or cook—everything is there at your disposal, including remarkable coffee and spices. Several good restaurant are just 2 min away: e.g. De Felici and Yugo. The town is close to Cinque Terre but less crowded—perfect to reach everything you need in a short time-frame and get to swim in a non-crowded beach. Highly recommend! We will be back again!

Great place in Chiavari

Our stay at Oltremare Soul Houses was wonderful. Located directly opposite to the beach promenade and some great bars and restaurants, we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are quiet (well, except if Italy just won the European Championship. But you won't find any rest anywhere else then) and very big. We loved it here and would definitely come again!

Silvana and David were excellent hosts. They accommodated us arriving later than planned and both came to greet us at the property. The room was beautiful and both went out of their way to go over and above to make our stay perfect. They left bread for us for breakfast and even sourced us a place to hire kayaks from. Both were very friendly and were very welcoming of us in their home. The photos do not do the property justice, it is beautiful and is in a great location with the beach just across the road. We had a lovely stay, thank you both so much!

In the mornings the communal area was quite noisy with other guests which made it difficult if you wanted to have a lie in.

Tolle Lage in Strandnähe; Restaurants und Cafés sind auch viele in der Nähe; in 10 Minuten ist man am Bahnhof; freundliche Gastgeberin.

Verkehrsreiche Lage - bei geschlossenem Fenster stört es nicht, bei offenem Fenster nachts ist es etwas laut.

Fijne locatie centraal gelegen voor veel mooie dagtripjes

Locatie is zeer sfeervol met een perfecte ligging. Vanuit hier kan je perfecte a.o. de Cinque terre, Portofino, genova en Lucca bezoeken. Met het treinstation op 5 min loopafstand hoef je ook niet alles met de autonte doen. Er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid en vanuit de accommodatie krijg je een gratis vergunning.

Ein schönes Apartment in sehr schlechter Lage

Das Apartment war sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Es wurde zudem sehr gut jeden Tag gereinigt.

Das Apartment liegt ebenerdig zur Strandpromenade und ist deshalb allzu sehr dem Lärm sowie den Blicken von außen ausgesetzt, weshalb u.a. die Fensterläden ständig geschlossen bleiben mussten. Nachts war es teilweise extrem laut, und zwar bis zum frühen Morgen. Meiner Bitte um ein ruhigeres Zimmer wurde leider nicht entsprochen, obwohl zumindest zeitweise ein Wechsel problemlos möglich gewesen wäre.

Spacieux élégant et bien placé

l'appartement est spacieux joliment décoré et très confortable, l’accueil est très attentif et cordial Il n'est pas véritablement "sur la plage" comme indiqué mais très proche de la mer et des restaurants et bars sur la promenade. Le centre est également proche on peut tout faire à pied.

Soggiorno eccellente. La struttura è in una posizione ideale, comodissima per raggiungere la spiaggia e a pochi minuti a piedi dai caruggi. Pulizia impeccabile e dotazione bagno completa di phon, set di cortesia, ciabattine monouso per la doccia. La stanza, nonostante si trovi in una posizione di passaggio, risulta silenziosissima. Un ringraziamento speciale all’host, gentilissima e sempre disponibile: attenta a ogni esigenza, pronta a dare consigli utili su cosa vedere e dove mangiare. Consigliatissimo

Nel complesso tutto è stato piacevole, anche se alcuni dettagli potrebbero essere migliorati: i cuscini erano un po' molli e l’asse del wc risultava leggermente staccata. Piccoli aspetti facilmente risolvibili, che non hanno comunque compromesso l’esperienza generale.
