Five star host, location and breakfast!

Exceptional host, great breakfast, spacious and comfortable room and bed (with a nice patio) and ideal location - - on the edge of old town, a short walk to dozens of restaurants, bars, shops, the waterfront AND the train station. We stayed for five nights at Piccolo Borgo during the off season, and enjoyed exploring Chiavari, walking along the waterfront and river, and shopping at the monthly antiques market with more than 100 vendors. We also took day trips by train to nearby Camogli, Santa Margherita and Portofino. All in all, a great stay!

Very Comprehensive continental Breakfast. Very accommodating when we requested a room Change. Assisted us immensely with some personal belongings we accidentally left behind when we checked out. Great location just a couple to a few minutes walk to everywhere in the town.

Description of the Ground floor room and its location could have been more clearly described. For example "Room overlooking courtyard was in reality overlooking the car park.

Paolo was great and very helpful. The room was very clean and spacious and the bathroom also very clean. Great that the building has a lift and it's very central. The coffee and breakfast was great as well!!

Breakfast was lovely and it was a short walk to beach.

It was very noisy.There was no Aircon and because of noise on street from 6 am we cudnt leave window open.We had a fan but it wasn't comfortable.

A very pleasant, comfy small hotel in the center of Chiavari

Lovely big balcony with great views, a comfy bed, very friendly helpful host. Lovely bathroom. Nice choice for breakfast.

Nowhere to put on makeup or do your hair. A mirror would have been good on the wall by the desk. A full-length mirror on or in the wardrobe would be good. I didn't like the plastic cups, glasses, and mugs would be much better especially as the coffee is really hot. I don't think you should have to pay for the coffee used in the room.

Hotel was easy to find, our GPS took us directly to it. Wonderfully located only a few steps from the central downtown area which is beautiful and filled with nice shops and many restaurants. Our host, Paulo, could not have been nicer!

the only negative comment I would make was that the hotel is located on a one way, narrow street such that we were unable to park right in front of the hotel to unload our baggage. Instead, we drove up the street a few feet to a small plaza and went back to the hotel whereby Paulo came out and escorted us about a half block away to get to the hotel's secured parking area. The street was probably unusually busy as we arrived during the annual flower festival (Chiavari en Flores) which was actually quite wonderful. to enjoy as the main street was filled with flower tents and stands for shopping.

Generally nice accommodation in a good-sized room in a small guest house near the attractive old town. Clean, comfortable, friendly reception, good wifi, good breakfast included.

There was heating in the room, but it wasn't adequate to heat the room on a coldish January evening. As the owner pointed out, the room has a high ceiling, and the heat presumably stops up there. I had a separate bathroom, which was well heated, and there was no problem sleeping as the bed was nice and warm.

Expensive for being a basic accommodation. A room as the bathroom on the common floor and their door was super noisy so it's annoying for the guests in the other rooms and uncomfortable for who feels bad using the bathroom, should be an easy fix

Small hotel, the owner was super friendly and very helpful with everything, the Breakfast was very nice, and the owner takes great care, he even asks you if you want something special so he can have it ready for the next day. The cleanliness is also a great thing. In general, the price is good compared to everything else around Chiavari, For the same price you can only stay in very old or dirty hotels, which say they have AC but it doesn't really work. The owner has access to a nearby parking lot that you can use for a few euros a day.

Visiting Italy on summer means very hot days and a lot of mosquitoes, the owner of the hotel offered me a fan that was very useful, but I wouldn't have been able to sleep without it. The room was cool compared to the outside temperature, but it was very hot in general not to have AC. However, the hot weather shouldn't be a problem for the rest of the year. My room had the bathroom outside the room. so I had to go into the middle hallway to access my bathroom a couple of meters away, I had my own key and only I could use the bathroom.

Perfect location for a city-break at the sea

The guesthouse is at walking distance from the railways station and very close to the historical center and the seafront. Very cosy and well equipped. Excellent welcoming and communication before and during the stay. Highly recommended. We will come back as soon as possible.

Non è una critica ma è giusto saperlo prima di prenotare: il cane costa 15€. Il parcheggio riservato ha un costo di 10€. Andrebbe scritto esplicitamente nell'annuncio (o forse era scritto ma io non l'ho letto) in modo che i clienti possano valutare prima di prenotare. Al netto di questo, tutto perfetto

Comode le istruzioni per entrare nello stabile. Parti comuni ben ristrutturate. Camera piuttosto ampia con bagno molto carino e comodo. Colazione buona e personale disponibile. Molto vicino alla passeggiata del centro storico di Chiavari. Nei pressi molti parcheggi bianchi.

Unica pecca: la camera (al secondo piano) dava su una strada secondaria ma quando passavano le moto si sentivano molto. Non ben insonorizzata.
