Great experience

Francesca is a fantastic host, very helpful with great tips. She really spoiled us during our stay. The room we had was spacious and was beautifully decorated. The B&B has an arrangement with a bar nearby ( on a beautiful square) for breakfast (vouchers), which was very nice. The location of the B&B is very close to the sea and the old center. We had a fantastic stay.

Quirky but beautiful old mansion

Francesca was very welcoming and full of great suggestions for where to eat in the area. The house is quirky but beautiful and the 2nd floor renovated rooms are charming. We loved the stylish touches and attention to detail.

The spiral stairs are stunning but you are on the 2nd floor so bear that in mind if you have mobility issues. The bathroom is miniscule but to be expected as it's squeezed into an old building and means the room is more spacious.

A touch of luxe in a nice town

The host was so nice! On the last day she offered me a box of local cookies. I imagine she does that with everyone, but still, it was a nice touch, along with the welcome pastry. The room was well decorated with lots of books and shelving, and the bed super comfy. There is no elevator and quite a few stairs to go up, but your host will help with the delivery. She was also flexible on the checkout. I loved Chiavari. The B&B is not far from the main town center, where there are many shops and restaurants. I didn't partake of the breakfast (accessible at a bar in the town), but I'm sure it would have been the standard coffee and pastry. Check out Antica Gelateria Verdi on Corso Dante. It's a little further out, but the gelato flavors were unique and the taste, amazing. I had nocciola and giunduia con lamponi e cioccolato. Miam!

A true paradise

By far the best accomodation we’ve ever stayed in. I will recommend the deluxe room to everyone. The ambiance of the building is literally enchanting. The host Francesca was sweet and very helpful. 10+!

Wonderful stay, highly recommended! :)

Excellent host, impressive 19th century villa, typical Italian breakfast with very good coffee, next to the train station. Portofino and Cinque Terre easy to reach by train. Chiavari has a fantastic historical city center with a lot of wonderful Italian restaurants. Highly recommended!! :)

We had a great time in Chiavari, it’s a cute little town with not too many tourists. Francesca is an amazing host! she greeted us with foccacia, and even gave us some ligurian bisuits when we left. The room is very spacious and pretty. We would definitely come again!

One of the nicest!

This is one of the loveliest places we stayed on our two month trip. The room was beautiful and the bathroom! Bigger than some hotel rooms we’ve been to. Staff was gracious and helpful. Additionally, there was a notebook with suggested itineraries and restaurant recommendations. Location is perfect—very close to both passagiata and to the sea

There are a lot of steps, but don’t let that stop you! My husband and I are in our 70’s and if we could do it, so can you.

unique spacious room in an amazing historical building. Yet modern facilities in the room.

it is vey close to the historical area, shopping street, and port.

Please know that there is no elevator. walk up about 55 steps on the fabulous 2 storey circular staircase. so if you have heavy luggage it is hard work. we like it though as it is a good work out after a nice big breakfast and Ligurian dinners!

Beautiful and unique

Everything was perfect! Stunning staircase that leads to top floor of historic villa yet very modern inside. Comfy bed, stylish interior, there’s even a functioning record player with at least 30 vinyls, great breakfast brought directly to the room. Francesca is a superb host! thank you!

The very Italian atmosphere of that B&B, very well refurbished with quality materials, warm welcome by the hoster, very good local breakfast and plenty enough that you can even skip the lunch.

No lift for elderly people, the B&B didn't provide car place you have to find one ourselves in one of the street nearby (up to 500m)

The lovely rooms are located at the top floor of a charming old villa and are equipped with love to detail. Francesca was a wonderful host and all in all we had a feeling of staying at a friend's place rather then at a hotel. The breakfast was served in the room and consisted of mainly local sweet and salty pastry. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back again.

There is no direct parking at the hotel, but Francesca kindly explained prior to our stay where we can park free of charge (about 5-8 min walking distance from the place)

Splendid period villa, really worth your stay

Great location, just outside the city centre quarters. Superb period villa, very well kept. Breakfast was served in our room (I do not know if this was just a covid situation or they do this as a rule). For us this was a bit difficult to handle (there was no cart or tall table for breakfast) as we were travelling with a crawling infant, wanting to touch anything. The guests were extremely kind and prompt as we exchanged messages related to our arrival.

Unfortunately, there is no elevator (I know you cannot add one as this is a historical building), this is just an observation for those traveling with infants to bear in mind.

We had a great time at Francesca's place. She is so lovely. You feel really welcome and at home. We received good recommendations in the area and she prepared a special breakfast for us as we had to check out really early. Everything is very clean and we slept very well. The bed is very comfortabel and you have the option between two types of pillows. The room is quiet and you are very close to the beach and restaurants . You can park for free really nearby or for 15 euro per day across the street. I would really recommend to stay here. Thank you Francesca!

Ich kann die kleine Wohnung empfehlen vorallem für ein Couple, welches nicht arbeiten muss

Die Villa ist sehr schön, leider hat es keinen Lift. Die Einrichtung der kleinen Wohnung ist sehr gut. Der Herr und Franziska waren ausserordentlich hilfsbereit und nett.

Ich hätte mir einen Tisch zum Arbeiten am PC gewünscht. Leider haben wie die Manipulationsverbot an der Klimaanlage missverstanden und somit sowohl im Schlafzimmer wie auch im Bad gefroren !

Ottima struttura con un difetto banale

Bella struttura in posizione centrale e non lontana dal mare e con procedura rapida di self checkin. Villa storica con una scala molto bella.

La stanza ed il bagno con idromassaggio, pur belli, presentano la stessa carenza riguardo la privacy non garantita nei confronti dei palazzi di fronte, anche se lontani , specialmente di notte a luci accese. Nella stanza, a fronte di una finestra con una riloga di 2 metri, è presente una tenda che copre solo un metro ovviamente insufficiente. Esistono due ante esterne che diventerebbe obbligatorio chiudere. Il bagno ha una piccola finestrina con una semplicissima tendina per ognuna delle due ante, non presenta ante esterne di chiusura per cui, di notte a luci accese, non può, ovviamente, essere garantita la privacy. Tenuto conto del prezzo della struttura queste problematiche , facilmente risolvibili, non dovrebbero esistere.
