Will not stay again

Reasonable price and close to where we need to be.

WiFi did not work, bed sheet was missing and there was no trash bags. Upon check out, the host was trying to charge us $90 for two plates left behind. We have read the instructions carefully and it says nothing about the cleaning up. Even there were two plates that were not cleaned, it is unbelievable that the charge would be $90.

We enjoyed our stay and it enabled us to receive a well needed rest in what is a long journey, whilst also facilitating

Location, location, location! The three minute walk to the centre of town is a true selling point of this property. The beds were comfortable and sufficient for x4 people to sleep in and the fan/air conditioning units provided, ensured the temperature remained comfortable.

The bathroom sink is not attached to the wall, which is a risk and created a scare when I leaned on it. The shower head is not attached to the wall and requires to be hand held (not insurmountable, but not ideal) and there was only a single mug for a cup of tea (even though there were 3-4 plates and bowls). There is no hand rail on the steep banister which might explain the lower age limit on children and would be a concern for elderly guests needing to use the bathroom.

Apt. has character! Ancient building! Spacious! Next to a wonderful restaurant. Can walk to all the main attractions.

Need to warn renter that there are many steep steps to apt. Then the apt. itself has more steep steps to bed and bathroom. Also need instructions in English on how to use coffeemaker and washer/dryer and the TV.

Short, hot stay in the middle of Orleans!

Great location, to begin with. Right in the middle of the historic Orleans. There are restaurants close by, supermarkets and various stores. Easy access by foot to all the historic town. The apartment was very nice and well equipped. The host was lovely, very responsive and kind. Parking is great, right on the street or the parallel, back one and it’s free from 7 pm to 9 am. Per hour was 2 Euro.

The apartment is definitely not for 4 people. It is small. It was very warm and the fan in the attic bedroom, didn’t cut it. So the bedroom was hot and difficult to sleep in. The living room with the pull up bed was ok during the night. If in winter or cold weather, that would have been lovely, as it has heating and oversees lovely roofs. If you are not a slim person, you cannot shower!

Very good

The location of this property is fabulous. You are in the inner center of the city yet the flat is really quiet. More quiet than you'd expect. Tram stop is practically at your doorstep, but you don't really need it as all of the city centre is within 10 minutes walk. The apartment is quite cosy located in topmost floor.

The bathroom is really small. This applies especially to a shower corner. You need to get in sideways (the doors won't open wider) and there's barely enough space to fit a decently sized person. The decoration with fake sticker tiles would be better if non-existent leaving the tiles white as they are. But that's my personal view. The bedroom is in upstairs loft with quite narrow stairs. What was not really pleasant was the temperature in the bedroom. As it's located directly under roof it got quite hot during the day. It would really use some A/C or at least a possibility to open the roof window which is there, but too high to reach.

The location is the best thing about the apartment

The bathroom was too small and it had a horrible smell. Finding a parking was a nightmare. The stairs are steep and scary. For 4 people it was a bit uncomfortable.

Superb

The appartement is spacious and beautiful. It has everything to fix a quick meal and have a nice dinner relaxing in the living room. The decor is really nice, simple but tasteful. The location is very good. Just 10 min walk from the main attractions and the train station, supermarket and shopping.

The only thing we didn't like was that the bathroom drain smells horribly (usual in old buildings) and it takes almost 30 min to aerate the bedroom if one leaves all windows closed.

Wat een leuk en knus appartementje!

Wat een ontzettend leuk en knus appartementje vlakbij het centrum van Orléans. We waren er maar 1 nachtje maar hebben genoten van de warme sfeer. Het vermelden waar is de gang naar het appartement, een waar kunstwerk van mozaïek.

Eigenlijk niets. Het bed onder de schuine wanden is misschien niet ideaal voor iedereen maar voor ons prima.

Bon logement avec suffisamment d'équipement et un emplacement idéal. Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire. Malheureusement, des odeurs dégoût insupportables qui ont gâché très largement mon séjour. J'avais réservé deux nuits, je suis parti après la première.

Orléans. Rien a changé.

Posizione centrale, perfetta per visitare la città e per prendere il tram in caso di spostamenti nei quartieri più lontani. Proprietario molto disponibile, veloce nel rispondere alle richieste. Ideale per soggiorni brevissimi.

La scala a chiocciola per salire in camera, un po' pericolosa perché molto stretta e senza scorrimano. Evitate di portare valigie troppo grandi e pesanti . Non c'è un armadio. Fate attenzione alla testa quando siete in camera, è un VERO sottotetto. Il bagno (ovviamente senza finestra) un po' trasandato. Ho abitato in questa città per anni, di appartamenti così ne ho visti molti, non mi sono stupita più di tanto.

Très bon emplacement agréable pour un petit week-end , manque de rafraîchissement de la salle de bain ..

L’emplacement est vraiment incroyable, on a vraiment tout à proximité ! Et pour ça gros gros gros coup de cœur ! C’est vraiment le gros point + ! Télé , machine à café et bouilloire !

La douche ……. L’odeur d’égout , les moisissures vraiment pas fou…. L’escalier pas très rassurant .. canapé pas très confortable…
