Just wow. Beautiful accomodation in a beautiful area.

The property was very modern and great for families. The beds were very comfortable and everything had been thought of - from rubber sheets on the kids beds to a travel cot if you needed one. The kitchen had all you needed. We arrived in the dark so were welcomed in the morning with one of the best views we’ve ever seen from the balcony. Oh. My. Goodness. The owners were also incredibly helpful and friendly if you have any questions at all. Highly recommended.

The room with a view

An unbeatable location and view in the beautiful town of Mittenwald. Very friendly hosts who run the wine bar downstairs. The accommodation worked well for our family of 4 and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Although we knew and were informed about it, the little "trip" step and low ceiling in the upstairs bedroom was awkward.

Comfortable well furnished apartment to enjoy Mittenwald

We made a stop in Mittenwald on our way from Dobbiaco in Italy to München airport. Wohnung Violine is a fully equipped, spacious apartment located in the center of Mittenwald. The building is 300 year old and a large balcony looks out over the impressive three mountain peaks. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night but this is a place to enjoy for much longer. The lovely host met us at the door and gave us a detailed explanation of the town, its history and its environment, and made several suggestions for walks and where to eat. We used all of his suggestions to the point! We had a designated parking spot where we could leave our car for the rest of the day of our departure.

We would have liked to stay much longer to enjoy the place. One point to mention is that the bedroom is located on a loft accessible by stairs. This is probably no problem for younger people, but for seniors like us it requires careful attention descending to the bathroom in the middle of the night!

Lovely views of the mountains

Lovely room with balcony looking out over the mountains. Very well equipped and clean. Great location on the edge of the old town but away from the touristy bit. It was lovely to sit with a glass of wine on the balcony in the evening, out of the sun. We didn't manage to eat in the restaurant but it looked really good. A hike up to Mittenwalder Huette is highly recommended as suggested by the owner. C. 2 hrs.

We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

The location to outdoor activities, the view, and the proximity to town was excellent. The apartment was clean and had a very well stocked kitchen. The bathroom was clean and spacious for a small bathroom. We were able to hook the television up to our steaming g accounts when we wanted to relax. When the windows were shut it was quiet enough.

It would have been nice to have a box fan for the hot nights, since there was no air conditioning. We had to have the windows open to cool the apartment overnight, so we awoke early to the noises of town. Bring earplugs and a sleep mask.

Great for a short stay

Excellent location. Friendly host.

We love the cute apartment and its views but it's a loft design, the bedroom is upstairs with narrow steps to climb up and down, so will not recommend for the elderly and kids. There's also a small drop in the floor on the bedroom level which can easily cause an ankle sprain. Personally, would prefer less rough bedsheets and firmer pillows.

Difficult to find as a detour was in place for the normal route. More info or small map to guide where driveway is and wine bar. If you have mobility issues, it’s 2 flights of stairs up and steep stairs to get up to the bedroom

Excellent choice for a family to spend a few days in Mittenwald.

A very comfortable and clean apartment equiped with everything one can need. The beds also very comfortable and the view from the terrace is alone worth the price. Everything in the town in within walking distance, even the train station.

Beautiful views in a comfortable setting.

The property has an ideal location surrounded by restaurants and shops. It’s an easy walk from train station. Had a great terrace/balcony to sit out on and people watch. Would recommend, but know the bed is in loft area and bathroom is on main level. Can be tricky. Thanks for the stay!

Die Unterkunft hat alles zu bieten was man braucht, Parkplatz vor der Türe und alles sehr zentral. Der Vermieter ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Man kann sich super mit Ihm unterhalten und er hat ein enormes Wissen. Sehr gerne wieder.

Ein schöner und erholsamer Aufenthalt

Der Vermieter hat uns persönlich die Schlüssel übergeben. Die Wohnung war etwas old fashioned aber sehr sauber und gepflegt. Bäcker, Fußgängerzone sind nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Man kann von der Wohnung aus ohne Auto wandern. Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt.

Eine Mikrowelle wäre schön gewesen.
