Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Mittenwald und sind absolut begeistert. Die wunderschöne kleine Stadt, umgeben von Bergen, hat einen ganz besonderen Charme. Mit ihren vielen kleinen Läden, den liebevoll bemalten Häusern und der spürbaren Geschichte wirkt es, als wäre die Zeit hier stehen geblieben – man kann den Alltag und den Stress vollkommen vergessen. Auch kulinarisch hat Mittenwald viel zu bieten. Wir haben uns für das Ferienhaus „Posaunenklang“ entschieden und hätten es nicht besser treffen können. Die Lage ist hervorragend: zentral gelegen und dennoch ruhig, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Ortszentrum, Bahnhof, zur Karwendelbahn und zum Kurpark. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr gut ausgestattet, gepflegt und absolut sauber. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber – sie sind ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

Spacious attic apartment close to supermarket, train station and the village. Excellent facilities in the apartment- heating, water pressure and kitchen appliances were all excellent. Balcony where we could sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings.
Low ceiling above the microwave caught us out a couple of times. Perhaps it could be moved to the other bench. Ran out of loo paper.
