Great location, great apartment!

The location and the equipments are superb. We found anything we wanted to use. Also the downtown is a 10 minute s walk away.

The cleanliness could have been greater. The washing machine and the vacuum cleaner were not very useful.

Fantastic family holiday!!

The location was fantastic, extrememly close to the veach and shops. The accommodation was very clean and homely with the bonus of a washing machine.

The only slight downside for us was the comfort of the beds. They seemed quite well worn and probably due to be replaced.

Accommodation suited our needs perfectly

The location was perfect walking distance for the two family members we needed to see. Quiet, easy to find and car park accessible for our large car.

The heater in the main sitting room did not function. This did not worry us badly as we did not do much sitting as we came urgently to visit family members who sadly we had not seen for ages

Lovely place

Right off the beach perfect for the pooch out of season. Clean tidy, everything you need for cooking cleaning etc.

I had a whole day disrupted by fire alarm tests, to which I had no prior warning, me and the dog jumped out of our skins. It's a good job I'm not of a nervous disposition or have a heart problem because they are so loud. Also people walk right past the front window everyday, which made my dog bark. No enclosed garden area.

Traumatic,exhausting and dissapointing

In a prime seafront location it was nice for the kids just to be able to walk across the road to the beach. Apartment was very clean & spacious with nice new looking bedding & furniture Despite being advertised as limited parking was easy and within a few yards of the front door

At 0515 on the Monday morning my wife was awoken by water coming through the ceiling in the rear bedroom. this trickle turned into a torrent which continued for FOUR hours with no way of us controlling it (it was coming from outside the property) We had access to TWO emergency telephone numbers, one for the property owner & one for sykes cottages. Despite this we had no response until 0900 from either party. I even rang the fire service in desperation who were very helpful but were unwilling to attend as there was no immediate threat to life. At 0900 the owners called me back with of an initial response of "well I am in Coventry" and "cant you all use the other bedroom" I explained that i was unhappy with this as how was i to know that the water damage would not spread through the rest of the properties electrics creating a fire hazard........I stated that we intended to leave the property later that day as we did not feel safe staying there,ie; we curtailed our stay shortly after this i managed to speak to Sykes who sympathised, i asked for alternate accomadation to be told that it would be treated as a new booking and I would have to pay again. The Sykes rep(Jack) agreed our predicament was unacceptable and has promised a full refund (I have yet to see this), (the owner has also stated we will be refunded) at 0930 a neighbour (at the owners request) called in to see the extent of the damage and later that morning called back again to "take pictures" for an insurance claim.I explained we were trying to sleep as we had had little sleep that night and i was not going to drive home 200 miles exhausted. We also had a visit from another person who indentified himself as the owners local property management rep. This individual whilst being very polite and friendly was surprised to still find us there and we left the property shortly afterwards. FOUR hours to respond to an emergency not of our making is unacceptable.

Fantastic property

It was homily and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils for cooking snacks or a proper meal. I thought the Welsh cakes, jam, butter, and milk was a lovely idea.

There was nothing we didnt like.
