We had a lovely chat with the owner on arrival and he gave us lots of information about Banagher and the surrounding area. We learned a lot about the local history. The location was perfect as we just parked up the car a strolled into town.

A great location, to base ourselves and very accessible to all the areas for our self-drive site seeing. The Townhouse was in walking distance to shops, pubs and historical sites. Ger, our host was fantastic. A very knowledgeable and welcoming person, we were made to feel like family. He went above and beyond to make sure our trip was relaxing for us. Ger sourced various sites and attractions for us to visit. He was in contact with us during our stay giving us updates on places to visit as well as checking on the accommodation to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Banagher is such a beautiful place to visit, and the township members were very welcoming and made us feel as though we belonged there. A place very rich in history.

Gerard was a lovely host with plenty of local knowledge,the house was spotlessly clean, cosy and we enjoyed our stay greatly,the dogs were very happy too!Can't recommend the place highly enough.
The water quality isn't the best,high lime content but bottled water is cheaply available in the local supermarket and I would recommend that for tea and coffee making
