Very difficult to leave!

Room Three was beyond my expectations (which - I have to say - were high). What I found really incredible about our room was that not only was it beautiful with all its design pieces and a magnificent view, but it was also fully equipped and functional for a perfect stay. I loved the bathroom, with its incredible marble shower (the water as well is properly functioning and there are Sisley products for body and hair) and I was quite impressed by the quality of the towels and in particular by a small but really interesting detail: there is a design towel warmer which integrates perfectly with the rest of the furniture. The bed is very comfortable and it overlooks the area of Antibes through the big window of the room, that opens on the garden and trees of the Fondation. What I have really appreciated about the room was its brightness: natural light comes in very easily during the day and at night the incredible lights systems greatly contributes to the creation of a warm and cozy environment. A very nice design desk completes the room and makes a pause for reading or working worthy. Lastly, the personnel (and especially Ms. Tahnee) has been very kind and responsive, both at the time of the check-in (which was smooth) and during the stay, offering us a tour at the Fondation on Sunday, even if it was closed. I would strongly recommend a stay at Fondation Cab, also because of its privileged position just at 5 minutes walk from the very center of Saint Paul de Vence village.

AMAZING

Exceptional Place, integrated with a Gallery, very private, feels like being at a friends place. Rooms are furnished with exquisite vintage, ours had a green marble shower. Breakfast in the adjoined Café was sumptuous and delicious. And, there’s a Jean Prouvé House in the garden! Absolutely stunning! Hardly to beat!

A unique property, and blend of a high end Airbnb’s meets boutique luxury hotel. Not to be missed!!

This unique and incredible property is designed to perfection with both high end architecture and extreme comfort in mind. Staff was very kind, welcoming and easy to communicate with. They also provided amazing recommendations for museums and exhibits in near by towns that I would if missed without their guidance. When visiting this are, if you have the opportunity to book this property, do not miss it!

Perfect stay in a unique and beautiful art space

The owner/founder has created a beautiful contemporary art space with a small number of rooms attached to it and set in a gorgeous garden. All rooms are decorated beautifully with mid-century furniture and unique artworks, We loved it! It is calm, very special and unique. The cafe/restaurant is equally beautiful and the food very tasty. Overall, all staff on the premises are super friendly and helpful. Everything is less than 10min away by foot from the village centre. Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect, We will be back for sure.

A truly "can't miss" experience in Saint-Paul de Vence!

ALL STAFF: Outstandingly knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. RESTAURANT SOL: Variety, quality, freshness, presentation of food and beverages plus ambience are perfect complements to the Fondation CAB experience. PREMISES (Room 2, Museum, Boutique, Landscape): A truly unique, hidden "gem" for travelers who appreciate access to noteworthy Mid-Century Modern (MCM) art, architecture, lighting, furniture amid tiered, natural landscaping within paved, sloped walking distance of town center. A "must" in Saint-Paul de Vence albeit for a culture "fix" with a twist, museum/shop or drinks or meal or stay!!

These are very minor matters, but it would help to: •Provide instructions for the coffee-maker found in the common area of Rooms 1-4. •Offer a decaffeinated coffee pod option if possible. • Improve the gliding of the wardrobe's sliding doors in Room 2 •Clarify that the bottled water is included in guests' stays at no charge.

We like everything about the room and that it was in the Fondation and all the materials were vintage. It was nothing like staying at a hotel. So if anyone is looking for an experience of a hotel, this is not a place. It is a unique experience at a unique setting.

Beautiful rooms, no hospitality.

The room and location is beautiful. The interiors and furniture is unlike other hotels, minimal and design-focused. It's very quiet and peaceful. If you're coming here because you're interested in design and art, it's very inspiring, just don't expect any hospitality. I usually like to be left alone whilst travelling, but there was difficulties with the self check-in. Close to the Fondation Maeght and a few minutes walk into the village of Saint Paul de Vence. I would stay again if I was visiting the village but I wouldn't bother with the breakfast. Make sure you make an appointment to visit the Fondation itself, as it's not currently always open.

Instructions for self check-in were not detailed enough. The door was really hard to open, which could have been resolved by some simple information from the lady in charge, Annabelle, but when I contacted her to say I was locked out of my room, I was met with sarcasm and rudeness. Please inform your guests you have to really force the door open. I was afraid I would be locked out of the room when I left in the evening and it is hard to get hold of anyone to help. I also saw other guests having problems with their doors. The breakfast was ok, it is just bread and a fruit salad.

Herrliche Ruhe in malerischem Ort

Idyllische Ruhe (in der Silvesternacht!), geräumiges und komfortables Zimmer mit bequemem Bett, aparte Einrichtung im Stil der 40er/50er Jahre, ausgesprochen sauber, schöne Lage ein wenig abseits vom Ortszentrum, aber nur circa 5-10 Gehminuten davon entfernt und rund 5 Gehminuten zur Fondation Maeght. Zwei Täfelchen belgische Schokolade als kleine Aufmerksamkeit. Ich wünsche, ich hätte eine zweite Nacht angehängt …

Nicht gefallen wäre zuviel gesagt, aber die Heizung hätte etwas leistungsfähiger sein können. Die Lichtschalter sahen zwar schick aus, das System erwies sich aber als etwas kompliziert - oder ich habe etwas falsch gemacht.

El sitio es encantador y sofisticado, a sólo unos pocos minutos en coche de la Fondation Maeght y a unos pocos minutos en coche de Saint-Paul de Vence, uno de los pueblecitos más bonitos de la zona, con restaurantes buenísimos. La habitación muy espaciosa con muebles de diseño antiguos y obras de arte. Un verdadero lujo de sitio.

Een geweldig verblijf!

Voor een complete (artistieke) beleving van alles wat het prachtige Saint Paul-de-Vence te bieden heeft, boek je hier een verblijf! Kleinschalig, gastvrij, rustig en comfortabel. Duidelijke instructies voor self-incheck en self-uitcheck (geen 24-uursreceptie, maar ook niet gemist). De vier kamers die worden verhuurd zijn ingericht met (vintage) design items en passen bij de prachtige architectuur van het complete complex. We danken de staff voor de hartelijke ontvangst, rondleiding door de collectie van Fondation CAB en het heerlijke ontbijt in restaurant SOL (op hetzelfde terrein, je betaalt direct bij het restaurant). We komen graag terug! Fondation Maeght ligt om 10-15 minuten lopen vanaf Fondation CAB en dat is een beste klim. Er rijdt vanaf de parkeerplaats iets verder de heuvel op een gratis shuttle service van Fondation Maeght om je naar boven te brengen (niet tussen 12-13 uur). Verder is het prachtige historische dorpje Saint Paul-de-Vence op 10-15 minuten lopen, kun je tevens prima eten met uitzichten over de heuvels en de zee. Luchthaven Nice en treinstation Cagnes-sur-Mer zijn prima bereikbaar (wij bestelden een Uber).

Geen minpunten, hooguit een suggestie om in de kamer wat zaken toe te voegen zodat het nog beter en comfortabeler wordt: dispensers voor (hand)zeep, een waterkoker voor koffie en thee en strijkfaciliteiten.
