On a rainy day the hotel produced an excellent dinner for us, even though it was the end of season and the restaurant was officially closed.
The location is excellent, with fabulous views over the valley. Very comfortable rooms and a warm welcome from the family members who run Le Hameau. Terrific value for money in an expensive part of Provence, and we would happily return.
Nothing to dislike.

The property was really beautiful, very vintage and romantic, with a wonderful garden and pool. The room was clean and also beautiful. We also went to sauna and it was excellent in the early autumn 🍂. Staff were friendly and helpful. 10 minute walk from the village. Would recommend!

Le Hameau is beautiful with many outdoor spaces to enjoy the view. I experienced an injury which prevented me from walking (not incurred on the property), and the manager kindly accommodated me to stay an extra night so I could recover. My room #10 was large with windows on all sides. The property is not accessible and there are many stairs and different levels.
There is no option for dinner, only minor snacks which end at 17:00. Guests need to drive to a restaurant to have an evening meal. Any food in your room is strictly forbidden and the guest will be fined.

Good location. Walking distance to St Paul De Vence
Few details need to be fixed to make it really great

Le Hameau is a charming hotel located 10 minutes walk from beautiful St Paul de Vence. The staff are all faultless, the rooms are clean & super comfortable. A lovely swimming pool & generous breakfast added to our enjoyment. Two gorgeous golden retrievers dozing on the terraces were always happy to be petted.
Nothing could have been better.

Location within walking distance to St. Paul de Vence, beautiful Old World, charming and cozy décor, outdoor pool with beautiful views, attentive and friendly staff, nice breakfast served on the patio, comfortable bed, double doors that open to balcony with views, dining available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, parking available.
I had to use extra caution getting in and out of the bathtub.

This was one of the best accommodations we've ever had. The spacious garden, with a sparkling clean pool and lovely terraces, truly made our vacation feel like a vacation. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and flexible, allowing us to check in early. The breakfast was excellent, and the homemade orange marmalade was absolutely delicious. It's just a pleasant walk to the center of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, and the views along the way are stunning. Thank you so much.

Excellent location to reach St Paul at any time of the day
Some of the amenities look a bit dusty and doors as well as windows are in rather bad shape (actually some are out of order).

The place is very pretty and well maintained. The details are nice. The owners were just lovely. Enjoyed chatting with them. The breakfast and lunch were great. Above all it was relaxing and exactly what we needed after a long drive up from Italy. The classic design is so special and the original house is where Marc Chagall stayed for a bit. Historic
The gate only opens on one side and it was the only thing I would improve on.

Beautiful and owned and run by a family - it shows they have put a lot of love and care into the place
Although only a 12minute walk supposedly to St Paul de Vence, the road is too dangerous truthfully for a pedestrian to walk it safely, let alone a child, so we had to drive there and park in a carpark when we went for dinner which was disappointing.

Loved they had two golden retrievers on property! The location was awesome! A nice quiet spot removed from the busy coastline. Very beautiful property with lovely details. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the drink service poolside!
They only had three seatings available for dinner each night. We were not notified ahead if time of this or I would have made dinner reservations there for a night when I booked.

Walk into village ( no footpath for part) good swimming pool . Antique room .
No evening meals although a hotel ( said they only can serve 3 tables ) breakfast v expensive for croissant and coffee / juice 17 euros - great breakfast down road for 3 euros!
No water in room to drink despite 32degrees c - told to drink from tap!
Unhelpful staff generally .
Pool v tired with rust on steps and mosaics falling off- better places for price next door

The gardens and surrounding areas of this place are incredible, even more beautiful than the last time I visited 5 years ago, it's very rustic French, it just oozes charm. The bedrooms are old French, furnished with thought and are stylish,
The staff are very pleasant, nothing is too much trouble, we arrived a little early and because our room was ready they let us into it early.
The breakfast area again is filled with beautiful flowers, foiliage and herbal plants and everywhere is fragrant from the flowers.
The pool area overlooks the valley and is a very tranquil place to either laze around or sit with a drink or a good book.
The two resident Retrievers are a lovely touch, such chilled and friendly dogs. They also have an onsite library for guests. The walk up to the Medieval town is around a 10 minutes. Also you can take a bus (655) from the same side of the road of the Hotel to Cagnes Sur Mer (15/20 mins) then jump on the train that runs to Antibes, Juan Le Pins and Cannes etc.
I can't rate this place highly enough, this was my 2nd visit and will return for sure. Thanks for everything all at Le Hameau. Hayley UK

A hidden gem! This charming, cozy, and beautifully decorated boutique hotel exceeded our expectations. The gardens are stunning, with the scent of jasmine lingering in the air as you walk through the property. The owners and staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. There are plenty of quiet seating areas, which makes it feel wonderfully private. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Full of well nourished flowers and fruit trees. Rooms super clean and stylish. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great night sleep in the hills of south France! Super well maintained property. Great view with infinite pool. Family run with two gorgeous and great mannered golden retrievers. Dinner is superb quality and made by the owner lady directly. The prawn with brandy sauce is particularly impressive - simple, fresh and with lasting brandy taste. Breakfast can be served right in front of your room or at the garden. A short walk of 15 mins by the secondary path to St. Paul as suggested by the owner. A very nice back walk. Overall a great experience and highlight of our trip.

The staff and charm of the place sells it! It was warm and welcoming. We loved the fruit garden, the views, and the overall feel of the place. The staff were friendly and engaging.
The location is a little removed but that could be a good thing too—depends on what you’re looking for.

Everything was perfect.
It takes about 10 minutes to walk from beautiful downtown Saint-Paul-de Vence, and everything was great, including facilities and meals, to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of Provence.
It gave me such an unforgettable memory.
I strongly recommend it.

No water , tea or coffee , no water, no fridge …no bathrobes , no safe…no glasses or opener for wine ..everything comes at an extra cost , rooms need a few updates, beautiful grounds and pool very picturesque…within walking distance to the village all uphill …you need to be fairly fit…house keeping staff very good …

Very beautiful and very quiet at night. The staff and dogs were lovely and the breakfast was great.
The bathtub drain didn’t totally stop the water from draining, but I hacked it with a plastic bag, so then it worked fine. The listing doesn’t reflect that the kitchen for dinner isn’t open until June 1 and it was my birthday so I was expecting a great dinner there - the recommendation at St Paul de Vence was great, and we love walking, so it worked well, but we weren’t able to walk, it would have been an issue.

We loved every single thing about Le Hameau. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is charming, comfortable and the grounds are beautifully kept. It absolutely exceeded our expectations. And you cannot beat the location!

The property is absolutely gorgeous from the view poolside of the valley, to the tables where we ate breakfast to the rooftop views … incredible. Pedro was hospitable and very friendly and our room was very clean and decorated with eclectic antique finishings yet felt new and modern. This is a gem that I hope I can come back to in the years ahead. Easy walk to village and parking was free
Loved it all

The simplicity and friendliness of the hotel. Excellent facilities with a very attractive swimming pool. Our room was very cosy and we had a lovely view. The dinner was excellent and served in glorious surroundings. We also enjoyed our breakfast on an Individual terrace . We will definitely be returning
Difficult to find fault except to say that it is important not to lose the peace and simplicity.

This hotel was fantastic! It’s clean and in a very safe, gated area in the hills of St Paul about 15-20 min from Nice. We loved to have somewhere quiet to relax in that felt family owned. There are two adorable dogs on site and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. They even took our package to the post office for us because they didn’t have deliveries come up there! 10/10 would stay again!
