Lovely home but but got destroyed by mosquitos both nights. Home needs screens or AC.
Very nice finishes, great view, furniture is great.
The location is very hot and humid in the summer and therefore there are tons of mosquitos at night. The home has no window or door screens nor does it have AC so you have to choose to either sleep in extreme heat or open windows and doors and get bit by mosquitos all night. It is a lovely home but it should have AC. We spent two very unpleasant nights. I'd also like to point out there is only one bunk bed and not two as described in the post.

It was situated on a hill so you were able to see the ocean from the backyard. The bathroom was fantastic, made of local marble from the Carrara mountains. The host was very friendly and had snacks and drinks waiting for us upon arrival. Communication was excellent.

Das Haus war nicht vorbereitet. Man hat versucht uns zu betrügen.

Erst einmal vorweg - wir buchen fast alles über Booking und haben dadurch Genius 3 - was uns geholfen hat.
Bei all diesen Buchungen haben wir das folgende noch nicht erlebt: Direkt nach der Buchung wurde ich über WhatsApp von der Vermieterin angeschrieben. Die Kommunikation erfolgte per WhatsApp bis wir sind in 3 Minuten da.
Wir hatten für 4 Personen und Hund reserviert, mussten später aber feststellen das nur 3 Personen und Hund bestätigt waren. Eine Woche vor Ankunft hatten wir noch das Wäschepaket für 4 Personen gebucht. Als wir ankamen wurde und das Haus zur Hälfte gezeigt und uns dann gesagt das wir eine Person Zuviel sind. Vorschlag der Vermieterin, wir sollten stornieren und neu buchen. Das haben wir abgelehnt und vorgeschlagen über Booking eine Person dazu zu buchen. Daraufhin sprach die Dame kein Englisch mehr, hat die Rolläden zugemacht, das Licht ausgemacht und rausgeworfen und ist gegangen. Wir standen also Abends 20:30 auf der Straße . Wir haben uns dann an Booking gewendet und das Thema klären lassen. Da hieß es innerhalb 1h kommt die Vermieterin zurück und lässt uns ins Haus. Mittlerweile war es 22:30 und niemand erschien. Also haben wir wieder bei Booking angerufen. Diesmal hat die Klärung länger gedauert, denn die Vermieterin lies anfragen wann wir denn endlich ankommen würden, wir wären bisher nicht da gewesen. Scheinbar weil bei Nichtanreise 100% Gebühr fällig werden. Nach längerer Klärung hieß es dann bis 23:30 ist die Vermieterin am Haus. Und tatsächlich 23:30 kam Sie erneut und wir konnten wortlos das Haus beziehen. Wir hatten über Booking die 4. Person die anfragt aber nicht bestätigt wurde dazu gebucht. Wir hatten also nach langer Anreuse und viel Ärger und 3 Stunden vor dem Haus warten endlich eine Unterkunft. Hätten wir kein Genius3 gehabt, das hätten wir an dem Abend nicht geklärt bekommen und dann 100% Gebühr berechnet bekommen, denn die Vermieterin hat behauptet wir wären nicht da gewesen. Dabei hatten wir es per Fotos dokumentiert.
