Despite its issues we had an enjoyable stay.

The house was in a perfect location and very well appointed. Decor was fresh , most beds were comfortable. The bedding was clean and there were most things we needed. The chore was the parking, we parked in the L”est parking at €6 per day. A long walk up hill to the house. Could be betters Seating only a sofa and two cane chairs, two better chairs would have been nice. The hob was temperamental, the lock function froze so we sometimes couldn’t use the hob. The shower on the third floor - we couldn’t use because it was dangerously hot. The shower in the second bathroom was so small and the aperture so narrow we could hardly get in. Once in the shower it was excellent. We like to cook- no bread knife or good sharp knife. No wooden spoons, need another pan with a lid. Despite its short falls we thoroughly enjoyed staying in Honfleur and its location made up for its problems. We fixed the bin in the kitchen. Instructions on appliances would have been a welcome addition.

We loved our time at the house next door, it was a great base for exploring Honfleur!

No parking so had to be quite organised to drop off bags etc. The wifi and therefore TV weren’t working when we stayed

Superb

Great place...very well equipped and near the centre of town. Decorated with good taste and beds and linen were high quality. Would recommend it.

Unfortunately one of our party had mobility problems so the steep walk up from the town was difficult along with the small shower cabinet on the first floor. Also a problem with parking while unloading and unloading the car on the narrow street. I will emphasis that the party was between 60/70 years old so perhaps the problems listed above should be mentioned on the Booking site so there are no unpleasant surprises.

Prima plaats om te verblijven als je goed ter been bent

De ligging is zeer goed, vlakbij het centrum en toch rustig. Je moet wel goed ter been zijn. Het straatje is steil, en dat geldt ook voor de trappen binnenshuis.

Er zijn een paar verbeterpuntjes, waardoor volgende reizigers met nog meer plezier van het huis gebruik kunnen maken: meer kleerhangers, en in de keuken een scherp mesje om fruit mee te schillen en eierdopjes. Het persoonlijke contact veel ons wat tegen. In de omschrijving bij Booking.com wordt aan gegeven dat er een 24-uurs receptie is, en dat toeristische informatie, goede adressen en advies bij aankomst worden gedeeld. Daar hebben we niets van gemerkt. Door nogal heftige pech op de heenreis zijn we een dag later aangekomen. We hebben hierover tijdig bericht en onze nieuwe aankomsttijd op de volgende dag doorgegeven. We konden wel binnen (er was sleutel in een kluisje) maar we hebben bij aankomst en ook verder in de week niemand gezien of gehoord.
