The arrival and check in was on problem at all. The property was in a fantastic location, very close the Hornfleur port.

Very central, comfortable beds and parking available on site.

Having the advertised rate of the accommodation increased through having to rent bed linen at 10 Euro/bed and towels at 3 Euro each, plus a 20 Euro cleaning charge. Also had to go to collect keys and withdraw cash as cards not accepted. Altogether quite a faff for a short stay.

A place to get your head down for a night. No more.

The location was perfect. But what I really liked was the fact I’d only booked to stay one night at this accommodation.

The most important thing for me is cleanliness. To put into context, I have travelled all over the world and stayed in 5* luxury to hostel dormitories. I can manage expectation. I expected basic as it was nice and cheap. But there are no excuses for poor cleanliness. Especially if you’re being charged a €20 cleaning fee. The bathroom is covered with black mould. The walls and skirtings are stained and dusty. There are cobwebs hanging from the ceilings. The sofa was stained as was the bed linen. Which brings me to the fact that you’re charged extra for towels and linen. Who travels with their own towels and bed linen? The host text me the day before we were set to leave for our trip asking if I wanted to pay extra for it, they said it was clear in the property description that it was an extra fee. I sent a screen shot of the description of the property asking where it was stated. They said they would get back to me. They didn’t. If you look in the facilities part there is a green tick for towels and linen but in brackets (extra fee) it’s quite misleading and hard to find. Having to walk to a shop up the road to get the code for the key safe was a massive faff. Big queues from other guests and shop customers. They have a card machine for the shop customers yet do not except card payments for the accommodation. Cash or French cheque only. I would recommend this place for a backpacker and only if it’s had a deep clean.

Great location, bit tired looking

Location is great and the accommodation setup was good for our needs, two male motorcyclists wanting separate bedrooms and a bit of space. The small outside area was welcome

Communication was poor. Despite giving our expected arrival time when booking and confirming it on the due day, we arrived to find it necessary to phone regarding gaining access, which then required our going to another, albeit close by address, to receive keys etc. Looking a bit tired, could do with some attention and also quite dusty, despite charging a cleaning fee.

Weekend in Honfleur

The location was amazing as right in the centre of town, but tucked away down a quiet side street, and with parking right outside and an outside space to sit and eat breakfast etc. The facilities suited our needs, it was comfortable, warm and clean.

There were a few general maintenance issues which although they did not cause us any problem it would have made the accommodation more pleasant if they had been addressed. 1) the conifers in the tubs outside where dead or dying, therefore seemed pointless. 2) the front door creaked 3) the downstairs bedroom door only shut by slamming it 4) the bathroom had a condensation issue which meant the door and walls could have done with washing down

The loft.

The pictures of the loft in booking look very nice unfortunately in person it is very disappointing. We were charged a 20$ cleaning fee and the loft had accumulated dirt from a long time. We were charged as well extra 10$ per bed linen and 3$ per towel per person, this is not mentioned before the reservation. We had to pay the bill in cash which was never mentioned!

Brilliant base in the centre of the old town of Honfleur. Private car parking facility is such a nice thing to have. Key pick-up from address just around the corner; easy and very friendly! The town is just a stroll away...

Great location, just behind the corner from the harbour, but quiet. We liked the apartment, good idea how to build a tiny house :)

Paying extra money for sheets and towels(10+3€), this is just a way of keeping the listed price low.This should be included in the main price listed! Wi-fi doesn’t work. Everything was pretty dusty, the cleaner should take a look under bed. There is 20€ fee only for cleaning in the price. Difficult to park a car inside of the yard.

Pleasant

The location is fabulous! Around the corner of the harbor. It’s quiet and convenient. Parking is free right outside the loft.

For non-French travelers, be ware to read details on availabilities of bedsheet, towels, soap and Wi-Fi, as all these services are not included as regular price. The place is run by business. So it is not well maintained and cared. There were mold in the bathroom walls. Ceiling curtain was broken. Here and there small things were not properly cleaned.

Comfortable, convenient and quiet spot near the harbor.

The host sent a detailed message on how to pick up keys. There s a parking inside the courtyard, the entrance is a bit tied if you re not used to drive in France .But it is very convenient if you re coming by car because it s not easy to park around the area. Bed were comfortable . The apartment is very quiet.

The place could use a little more cleaning.There was a lot of dust and some stain on some of the comforters.

Location is great, appartment has a lot of potential.

Owner is friendly, but his mother who arranges the arrivals is just rude. Keeps on saying i’m lying about not receiving the pre-arrival info and nearly hung up the phone on me. Price on the website is without bedsheets / linnen / parking. About €40,- extra will be charged. Appartment is dirty. Spiderwebs everywhere, thick layers of dust all around, cuttingboard has severe mold on it. Curtains are falling of the rail, someone tried to fix it with bandaids…

La infraestructura un poco deteriorada, oscuridad total en el ingreso del auto, colchones no muy cómodos y falta de explicación previa sobre la llave, que nos hizo perder bastante tiempo. No hay enchufes cerca de la cama pata cargar celular.

Le principal atout de ce logement est sa localisation. Il est idéalement situé pour découvrir Honfleur.

Les sur-plus nombreux : le parking, les draps, les serviettes, le chien, etc... La salle de bain est vraiment exiguë et mériterait un bon rafraîchissement et les couettes et oreillers attendent un tour au pressing.

Le loft est bien situé proche de la ville,des commerces et au calme.

Compliqué pour rentrer dans la cour, la douche pas très propre, salle de bain petite, le loft serait suffisant pour 4 personnes et pas plus. Beaucoup de poussieres sur les poutres et les luminères. Toile d’araigné. Besoin d’un bon rafraichissement.

PosiIzione ottima per il centro La signora che ci ha dato la chiave molto gentile ( si era sbagliata a fare il conto e mi ha ridato i soldi, anche quelli del parcheggio non utilizzato.

Il.parcheggip veramente complicato perché l'entrata è stretta e una strada trafficata quando siamo stati noi in pieno agosto. Noi che avevamo una macchina a 7 posti s noleggio non ci siamo fidati a usarlo. Bagno piccolissimo, doccia piena di muffa.,maniglia porta rotta In generale lo stato della manutenzione è molto basso, , la struttura ê molto carina ma lasciata un po' andate. Il divano letto in soggiorno non è comodo , va bene al massimo per una notte. La.cmaera al.piano superiore ê calda.
