Family trip to Honfleur

We loved the location... near lovely walks and the town centre, parking facilities... locked parking, the size of the appartment. It had everything we needed for our family stay. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The rooms were very clean. There was internet and Netflix, YouTube etc. The flat was warm. There was plenty of room for 6 people to enjoy in comfort. The owner came to meet us and hands over keys and collected them at the end of our stay.

Lovely large period living rooms and well equipped kitchen. Great central location on a beautiful one way historic street, with very little traffic.

The bedroom was quite small and faced a main road, but not a huge problem.

Excellent and comfortable stay in a beautiful large apartment. Highly recommend to everyone.

My husband and I have spent 3 beautiful days in Honfleur. The accommodations were well above what we expected: very spacious, excellently located , clean and very private despite being in the middle of the city. As a bonus, the accommodations have a private parking included into the price. The host met us at the door, explained all details, gave us the key — and we were launched into exploring little cities of Normandy. The apartment has everything needed, including a washer, Nespresso machine, all utilities. Many thanks to the owners for taking such a good care of the guests.

I would recommend to provide two towels per person.

Unforgettable splendour

An unforgettable stay here in Honfleur's charming historical heart. A family of 6 - we were so very comfortable here. And to securely park our touring van on site was a bonus. Everything was so close on foot, we enjoyed our village lifestyle.

Comfy and cosy, with old world charm! The proprietor was helpful. The apartment opened to Rue Haute with some half timbered houses on one side, and a public park on the other.

Beautiful apartment on the doorstep of the harbour, stunning!

The apartment was absolutely stunning, beautiful, spacious and stylish. Car park was safe & secure and easy to go back and forth the car! Fantastic location and amazing windows that open fully to hear the birds in the morning. Spotlessly clean and just perfect!

Towels are not provided and the smoke detector didn’t work but otherwise - perfection!

A wonderful apartment in Honfleur

We had a wonderful stay at Apartments Du Clos Vorin. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which is very spacious and decorated in keeping with the style of the house which itself is very beautiful. We appreciated that the kitchen was extremely well equipped and it was a bonus to be able to park securely at the property. The location of the property is excellent with everything in walking distance. We did not need to use our car. Communication with the owner was excellent. I would highly recommend Apartments Du Clos Vorin.

Loved the location

Fantastic location with off street parking which is a huge advantage plus walking distance to everything local, heaps of restaurants etc. Our host was great, met us at the accommodation and showed us through everything. Also an easy drive to Fecamp if you want to explore the area.

Internet was patchy but we had enough mobile data to do what we wanted to do so not an issue for us.

Very good

Our host was very welcoming. The apartment is in a superb location, with private parking. The rooms had been beautifully furnished and were so comfortable, light and airy. There was everything we needed. Can definitely recommend to anyone staying in Honfleur.

Unfortunately, our 2nd night was greatly disturbed by the occupants of the adjoining flat. Arriving at 00:10 and not being quiet until 02:30. Nothing our host could have done.

The noise from construction 🚧 Parking is not available at the moment as there is road construction happening which was a bit of a disappointment. We were able to get free parking close by so not a real drama.

Very nice "French" feel to the apartment. Decent amount of space in the living areas. Close to free car park. Backs onto Rue Haute, which has many attractive old properties.

Unfortunatley the secure parking was unavailable to us due to roadworks. This was one of the main reasons we had reserved this accommodation.

A fantastic property in an amazing location with secure parking. We had the two bedroom apartment which gave us the entire middle floor - huge living and dining space with plenty of dishes etc... for cooking and eating. A great location for exploring the town on foot. Great, helpful host and excellent value for money. Thank you :)

Excellent location, good sized living spaces, host very welcoming. Most things provided that you might need - dishwasher tablets, shopping trolley, plates etc.

Cleanliness could have been better in places, particularly around maintenance of property (e.g. shower grouting) and details like checking all cutlery is clean. Beds a bit small for two and not especially comfortable. Towels weren’t provided - perhaps this is stated in the detail and we missed it but this would be tricky if you were flying in for a weekend.

We e-mailed before requesting a lower apartment as we are 85 years old. We were placed at the top up 44 steps. There were 3 apartments available at the time. The Lady supplying the keys was charming. The bath had no means of support to get out of and was very slippery for older people. Would stay there again, as excellent for centre ville and parking. Owner needs to respect client requests such as ours, or just keep to young people at top Floor.

Beautiful city! Excellent location for families. There is a park directly behind the place and it is in the edge of the city center. Much closer then it appears online.. hundreds of restaurants and cozy bars in the immediate area. Also right by the botanical garden, Minigolf, and a tourist cruise boat. Couch bed was easy and comfortable. The location was quite.

We really enjoyed the place and would stay again if in the area. But we pack light on toiletries and count on the hotel/apartments to providing bath soap/shampoos. This place did not, so we all took water bathes. Not a big deal because we were only there for a night.

Zero hospitality

Nicely located and parking next to the appartment

No flexibility and nothing available for comfort. You need to bring your own towels, no shower gel or shampoo, minimal toiletpaper (we had to call for an extra roll and got a remark on top), some bad filter coffee machine and you have to get your own coffee ... Also late check-in and no flexibility to already park the car on arrival. 50 euro cleaning fee for such a small place is also very exaggerated. The owner seems to aim for making money without effort. The resulting hospitality is very poor. He also claims, on confronting him with the poor service, not to have official permission to give ‘hotel-service’. I wonder what that means, first time I heard this kind of thing. He is on booking.com, so you could expect this to be regular.
