Le Petit Paradis

Wonderful surroundings, (Honfleur is a little gem of a town), fantastic service. The owner, Martine, welcomed us warmly with a smile, and despite the language barrier, she took the time to communicate with us via Google Translate and ensure we received all the necessary information. If you are interested in culture, the house where the composer Erik Satie lived is located across the street; today, it is a charming little museum.

The cleaning supplies were a bit dirty, but on the other hand, there was free pasta, coffee, tea, and various spices.

Le Petit Paradis ligt heel centraal en in een idyllisch, heel rustig hofje. Het is vooral geschikt voor mensen die graag erop uit gaan. Je stapt naar buiten en je bent bij alle voorzieningen van Honfleur op een steenworp afstand. Ideaal dus! De ontvangst is erg hartelijk. (Het ontbijt is niet inbegrepen.) Fijne slaapkamer beneden, en suite!

Er is geen afzuiging van de toiletten/ badkamers. Ook geen raampjes dus na een toiletbezoek is het lang nagenieten. Er is ook alleen maar Franse TV te bekijken, dus voor anderstaligen is er geen TV. De slaapkamer boven hebben we niet gebruikt omdat je gegarandeerd hard je hoofd stoot tegen de heel lage balken boven de trap. Dit is best gevaarlijk! De accomodatie zelf is weliswaar heel goed uitgerust, zelfs twee badkamers, maar best klein (vandaar de naam 'Petit') en dus niet heel erg geschikt voor meer dan 2 personen om lang binnen te verblijven. Verder een heel fijn verblijf voor een wat kortere periode in Honfleur!

Perfect location, central but quiet & right on top of 2 essential attractions, the Satie museum & the Boudin gallery. Delightful garden & well equipped throughout. A 2 bathroom apartment is hard to find & suited us perfectly.

Although the bed on the mezzanine was very comfortable the headspace was very low & might not suit everyone.
