The property was big enough for our group of eight. The location of the property was great with beautiful views. We took advantage of the seating area overlooking the bay . All six of our grandchildren absolutely loved the place. Matt was great he even checked that we got into the house and we're happy.

Great stay at a fabulous house with spectacular views!

The absolute best thing about this property are the fact you have amazing sea views from every single window. Also, the location is superb - just a short stroll to town and both the North & South bays. There's a great pub about 5 minutes away in one direction and the English Heritage castle about the same in the opposite direction.

There are a lot of stairs which is just something to be aware of if you have elderly or less mobile people in your group. Having said that, there are decent rails and our mum coped absolutely fine.

The house probably helped to give us our most enjoyable Scarborough holiday to date!

The house is spacious with wonderful views on both sides. The selection of beds and provision of travel cot was great and the beds were very comfortable indeed. The kitchen is kitted out really well and we enjoyed the option of casual kitchen stools or sitting together around the dining table. The living room was a fabulous room to relax in after a day packed with seaside activities. We’d book it again!

Perfect views lovely home equipped well good communication with the host walking distance to the beach and into town....lovely and clean and neighbours very friendly...can't wait to book again 😀 😊 beautiful views from the garden to

Says tumble dryer but there isn't one as we never packed loads of clothes as we thought we could wash and dry them ...we couldn't use clothes airer as it was rusty and ruined hubby's top 😒

Waimea House

We stayed at this lovely house for a week while on a walking holiday. It was perfectly located in a quiet area of town, just a 15 minute walk to the railway station for train or bus to the beginning of our walks Being up high we enjoyed spectacular views of the North Bay and the garden was a delightful place to relax and take in the view. We particularly appreciated the large bright rooms and beds were very comfortable. One of the main reasons we chose this house was the free off-road parking for our car which was very convenient.

There was a lack of storage space in the bedrooms - only one room had a wardrobe but no drawers, the others had drawers but nowhere to hang clothes. The stairs to the top bedroom are very steep and narrow making them awkward to negotiate - particularly when carrying luggage. It would have been nice to have instructions how to work the integrated coffee machine, we tried and failed to puzzle it out. Thankfully a cafetiere was available.

Great place to stay for the price

Location is great. Sea views and a short walk to the beach and strip The house has lots of room The garden is big with a lovely view Child gate on the 2nd floor is a nice touch. We could relax knowing the little ones wouldn't fall down. Washing Machine is helpful shame no dryer Parking permits for outside. We had 3 cars so this was nice

While the main issue I had was resolved it's a shame it happened. On arrival one of the beds bedding was dirty. The cleaner was unavailable so I ended up having to change this myself. While that's not an issue it's disappointing that the cleaning company was so bad. I've had previous experience with host stay cleaners doing this, very poor experience. Main sofa's are cream fabric, why lol. I ended up washing one cushion as it was dirty and this showed why cream is not a good idea, the rest of the sofa looked really bad next to the clean one. Recommend you have the cleaners do the covers once a month or replace with a different colour. Someone had tried to get in the locked storage cupboard previously and pulled the skirting board off the wall along with the plaster. We didn't notice it until the 2 year old had some in his mouth! No dryer which wouldn't be an issue but there is only a broken clothes horse, and the rotary washing line has no where to go. We ended up putting it in the table hole but it leaned over all the time so drying took ages. Beds.. mattress was fine but the pillows were so bad. Kids ended up sleeping with cushions instead and the duvet was like a winter blanket. Was so hot we just took it out of the cover

Fabulous location and beautifully presented holiday let, we would definitely return again.

The location of this property is fantastic for both the North & South Bays. Views of the sea can be seen from every window in the house, its a beautifully renovated Georgian townhouse. Lots of space & facilities for families, the photographs in the listing are accurate.

There are 2 large wardrobes however, you only have access to 1/2 of one wardrobe with only 8 hangers for up to 8 guests. One wardrobe was padlocked with no access at all. The advert states 3 bathrooms when there are only 2.5 (2 bathrooms and a toilet on the first floor landing)

Excellent location and brilliant views over the south bay. Lots of space. There were plenty of kitchen things. Beds were really, really comfy.

No welcome pack, I know this isnt essential but its a nice touch. There werent enough facilities in the bedrooms for storing clothes, some rooms had no wardrobes and some rooms had no drawers

Lovely stay, let down by cleaners.

Lovely quiet location.

No toiletries which were supposed to be included. No hairdryer. Food splashes on the hob and coffee ring in a clean cup. Floor was dirty in kitchen. Sofa had coffee stains on the arms. No instructions how to use coffee maker. Other than that we had a lovely stay. Just a shame the cleaners were not top notch.

Very little. It was all very good. As it was a 3 storey Edwardian House, the stairs were sometimes a little steep, but we all got used to them. You cannot have an Edwardian Town House that is 3 storeys high without a lot of stairs!!

A little gem in one of our favourite seaside towns. We would book again and recommend to friends.

Great location with wonderful views from every window. We enjoyed the decking overlooking North bay everyday with a few drinks and to the envy of walkers passing by. Stylish and functional interior that made a great family holiday.

This property is next door to a large hotel and the lovely garden backs onto the ‘working back yard’ with the bins and large flue. Most of the time we could ignore this, though and just enjoy the view. This house for 8 only had 1 of the parking spaces as the other is used by the downstairs flat for 2. We managed street parking without much hassle using the residents scratch cards provided, but this was the end of October; I think parking may be difficult in the summer months.

Lovely house, great location but a little bit expensive.

The location is fabulous and the view from the decking was so lovely. The house was comfortable and nicely furnished. The kitchen / dinning room is a great space to meet, sit, chat etc.

The toilet on the first floor doesn't seem to be attached very securely to the wall. Some of the light switches were in need of a clean. The carpets in the bed rooms were stained.
