Lovely views and spacious house. Sleeps 8 but really better for 6 as one bathroom is ensuite on the top floor with non standard stairway (high risers and steep) so most used the one bathroom on the third floor and lounge only seats 6 in comfort. It was provisioned for 6 really - sufficient cutlery and plates for 8 but insufficient Pyrex/food preparation. Parking was useful - one space on property and one parking permit which needs changing every 2 days. Note the parking area is shared with the lower ground floor flat (we thought we had the whole house but there is a separate flat below) - so one space for each property. Larger cars may find it tight. Big views over North Bay from bathrooms, top bedroom and 1st floor bedroom. Lounge has more distant south bay views. Lovely to see the sea so close.
Blunt knives, damaged Teflon in some pans and baking trays, difficult stairs to top room and slightly eccentric wiring. Top room bedroom and bathroom lighting on one switch so night time needed a torch to not wake other person and that switch was accessed by leaning over open stairs. Surprised too that a house had another property on site - perhaps missed that in the description? You need to all be mobile - lots of stairs. Garden sadly kept collecting rubbish from inconsiderate hotel next door - gulls raided their open bins. Front parking area very uneven - one of our party fell over. So just be aware it is uneven. Location is great and the property looks good. Just a few issues that might not matter to everyone.

Very clean and welcoming for the whole family. Well fitted kitchen and dining room with all the appliances you could need.
Would have liked an en suite in double room on first floor. Also stairs to room on third floor were very narrow and steep and not good for anyone with mobility issues.

The garden is big with a lovely view
Child gate on the 2nd floor is a nice touch. We could relax knowing the little ones wouldn't fall down.
Washing Machine is helpful shame no dryer
Parking permits for outside. We had 3 cars so this was nice
While the main issue I had was resolved it's a shame it happened. On arrival one of the beds bedding was dirty. The cleaner was unavailable so I ended up having to change this myself. While that's not an issue it's disappointing that the cleaning company was so bad. I've had previous experience with host stay cleaners doing this, very poor experience.
Main sofa's are cream fabric, why lol. I ended up washing one cushion as it was dirty and this showed why cream is not a good idea, the rest of the sofa looked really bad next to the clean one. Recommend you have the cleaners do the covers once a month or replace with a different colour.
Someone had tried to get in the locked storage cupboard previously and pulled the skirting board off the wall along with the plaster. We didn't notice it until the 2 year old had some in his mouth!
No dryer which wouldn't be an issue but there is only a broken clothes horse, and the rotary washing line has no where to go. We ended up putting it in the table hole but it leaned over all the time so drying took ages.
Beds.. mattress was fine but the pillows were so bad. Kids ended up sleeping with cushions instead and the duvet was like a winter blanket. Was so hot we just took it out of the cover
