A very comfortable and convenient stay near the sights of Chester.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a spacious house (more so than it looks from the photos) and both bedrooms are a really good size. The king bed was extremely comfortable. Good location close to central Chester (10-15 mins walk) and lots of sights, and very close to the train station, plus shops, cafes, etc nearby. House was spotlessly clean when we arrived and had all the amenities needed. Communication with the host was very efficient and quick, and all worked very well. Definitely recommended.

Only thing I would suggest adding is a doormat for the hallway, in case of bad weather and wet/muddy shoes.

Good location, reasonably priced, accommodation.

Sufficient space for 3-4 people Good location - 10 mins walk from station and 10 mins walk into the city. Near supermarket. Well equipped kitchen. Clean Agent communicated regularly, though at times it felt like a bombardment.

Front bedroom had no bedside lamp. On investigation of a plug in a socket in the bedroom, it emerged that this went through the floor and was connected to an extension lead in the lounge. This extension lead was in turn connected to another extension lead into which a lamp in the lounge was plugged in. This contravenes wiring regs. Poor state of decoration, with mould beneath the windows in both bedrooms, peeling paper in the bathroom, unfinished and dirty paintwork. Gave an impression of a job half done. A lot of noise from neighbours in the early hours causing disrupted sleep On street parking impossible due to volume of vehicles and vehicle parked up on pavement outside house made it difficult for guest with poorer mobility to access front door.

Comfortable home, close to the city centre

We stayed for a month. The location is great to walk into the town, easy walk to the train or bus station. House was clean, beds were comfortable and kitchen was well enough equipped to cook meals. Nice quiet residential street so really easy to get a good sleep. Staff were attentive and helpful. They checked in with us to make sure everything was fine. Easy self check in/out with a lock box system. Would definitely stay again.

Two bedrooms but place comfortably sleeps six. Shower was hot. Place was pretty clean. Heating quick and effective. Local parking cheap.

Kitchen misses a dishwasher. Parking for half a weekend a bit of a lottery (saw ticket on another car on Saturday morning). But this is being really picky!

Very clean and comfortable. Having a bath as well as a shower. Enough space for 2 of us but think calling it 'spacious' a bit of a stretch! Close to rail station, shops, eateries and pubs. 10 minute walk to city centre.

Nowhere to hang things in bathroom. Hooks and/or shelves would be useful. Not enough bedside lamps. Very heavy crockery. I was unable to reach top shelves in kitchen cupboards. We didn't understand the central heating settings. On the first morning, i was disturbed by loud talking in the adjacent house and a man came into the yard to rummage through the recycling bins which was rather alarming!

Great location, short walk to town and a little park at the top of the road. Plenty of space with everything you need, and free parking outside with the permits. Constant communication with owners if needed.

The glasses, crockery and cutlery needed washing before use as were dirty.

lovely property, very cosy and peaceful. the staff were outstanding and couldn’t praise them enough, checked we were ok and also decorated the property for my fiancés 30th. He was over the moon and so was I and honestly made our stay magical.

Clean and tastefully decorated, with all essential facilities. Good wi-fi helpful. Central heating kept the house warm throughout

Absolutely fine for three/ four adults, but would struggle to sleep 6 in any comfort, as only one toilet in combined bath/shower/WC, and size of property generally more suited to four persons

Beautiful house, very cosy and homley, has pretty much everything you need! Street parking with permit out front is handy for weekend parking.

Very comfortable and easy stay. Host was exceptional with communication.

Location was great for Chester Zoo. Very easy booking, keys on site which is perfect. The property was well equipped and had enough room for the 4 of us.

Parking is a slight issue but not major. The only other thing for me is not having a dishwasher. This is fine for a short break but for a weeks stay with a family this might put me off purely as I would like a break too haha.
