Perfect botique hotel, can’t wait to come back

I loved the location, perfect view, great size for a hotel - you have everything you need but it’s not crowded, and the staff is so kind. Breakfast is from local providers, but you should definitely try their signature dinner as well. And in peak season there was plenty of space in the sauna, and we really enjoyed the beautiful panoramic room.

A truly magical stay

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Triangel Boutique Hotel! The view is simply unreal — one of those moments where you stop and just stare in silence. The food was outstanding, truly delicious. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, especially Uroš, whose friendly approach made us feel as if we had known him forever. That personal touch made the entire experience even more special. The rooms were comfortable, warm, and spotlessly clean, offering the perfect place to relax after a day surrounded by such breathtaking nature. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel and to this magical place. Highly recommended!

Picturesque and Comfortable Stay in the Slovenian Alps

Everything was excellent from the moment we checked in. It was low season in the Alps. We were upgraded to a room facing the Julian Alps! Breakfast was excellent and we had great dinners at the hotel's Michelin Guide restaurant too. The location is great and staffs were friendly! Will definitely return!

A gem of a hotel in a beautiful location. Our room was spacious, clean, with a good bathroom with lovely toiletries. We had a mountain view, which was stunning. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The dinners were delicious and there was a lot of choice for breakfast. The wellness suite is modern and is a lovely space for relaxing and using the saunas. We loved our stay here and highly recommend this exceptional hotel.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel has a lovely, airy yet cozy decor that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and exceptionally comfortable. The service throughout our stay was outstanding—warm, attentive, and truly personalized. The views of the Mountian landscape were simply stunning, and the on-site restaurant was a highlight. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional, with amazing food and equally impressive service. Tremendous view in a beautiful hotel

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful place, close to hiking trails. I suggest booking rooms with view on Julien Alps - absolutely tremendous. Rooms are comfortable and well equiped. There is a nice restaurant with delicious meals. Hotel staff was very helpful and nice. We definitely recommend.

We have noticed a slight problem with the cleaning staff, who was, for example, not always collecting trash, especially in the appartment (we were staying in 4 different rooms), but it did not influence our very possitive reception in general.

Exceptional service!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The service was exceptional — the reception team responded quickly to every request, helped us book a dinner table, provided an EV charger, and answered all our questions with kindness and efficiency. The room looked exactly like in the pictures — very clean, fresh, and modern, with an incredible mountain view. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. A wonderful stay from start to finish!

Our favorite spot in Slovenia!

Such a comfortable place to stay. The sauna was excellent and the food the best we had on our trip. This is a great place to land for the first few days to adjust to time zones. So relaxing and so much to do and see nearby.

The location is AMAZING. Not only is the view stunning but the D2 bike path runs right next to it, for those who are into cycling. There is even a nice and spacious sports locker room to keep our bikes safe.

Lovely boutique hotel with a fabulous breakfast / restaurant. Spa and wellness was modern, clean and calming with a good range of facilities.

Only small gripe was inability to turn down A/C as it was set centrally by hotel. It was just a bit too warm for our liking but that’s a personal issue and time of year variable but if you have a in room controller you do expect to be able to adjust to suit.

Absolutely would stay here again - it was one of our favourite places for the whole of Slovenia.

We were provided with a packed breakfasts the night before, which was fantastic. The staff were very accomodating, which we really appreciated. We actually stayed for the served breakfast and they had some interesting options. You could have as much as you wanted and so was great value. The dinner service, views, and attentive staff were exceptional!

The air conditioning in our room did not work at all (it just blew room temperature air) and so we had to open a window. However, when we did this the road noise outside was quite loud and we didn't get a great sleep. This wasn't a problem when the windows were closed in the morning but we were staying for just 1 night and didn't have time to get it fixed with the staff. Some of the a la carte options did not totally hit the mark for us as they were more focused on 'refined dining' than tasty, great breakfasts to set you up for a day in the mountains. Its a minor comment, but hearty options were relatively limited.

breakfasts - very short menu, some of the restaurant staff could be more kind to the guests of the hotel, cooks should put more attention and effort in preparing breakfasts ( couple of times my scrambled eggs looked more like chopped omelette ) . no outside area to rest or sunbathe.

Gem of a hotel

The hotel is spotlessly clean and new, and is in a stunning area, the views are breathtaking! We had hired a car to drive around, you are 20mins from both the Italian and Austrian borders. The bedrooms are lovely and airy and the beds are very comfortable. The shower is also pretty good. We had a lovely balcony (room 9) the views were fabulous. Breakfast was continental, but a nice selection and with the option of omelette, eggs etc! The 2 photos are the view from our balcony.

The housekeeping staff could pay a little more attention to detail at times, sometimes the coffee/sugars weren't replenished and we didn't have any towels one day and had to go and ask for some - no one at reception but luckily found one of the housemaids who was very apologetic! Reception only seems to be manned when someone is checking in or checking out! The hotel website states that there is a bar in the hotel, this isn't quite correct - yes you can get a drink when the restaurant is open and serving food, but if you are there when the restaurant is closed or no one is in the restaurant, no one is around to serve you, so a little disappointing!

Fabulous property in every way with spectacular views

Everything we were upgraded at no cost to a room facing the Julian Alps. The room was beautiful and spacious and the views I will never forget! The restaurant was wonderful we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there. The location so close to some amazing waterfall hikes. Don’t hesitate to stay here!!

Amazing stay! The service was excellent, the breakfast generous and delicious, and the spa was perfect after a day of hiking. Everything was spotless. Beautiful modern hotel with fantastic views

The view of the mountains is incredible - one of the best views I’ve ever seen! The hotel is beautiful, modern and done to a very high standard. The room was clean and had a lovely balcony looking out towards the mountains (definitely pay for a Mountain View room). The breakfast included is huge and includes a charcuterie board, fruits, breads, cereals, hot drinks and hot food. There is a lovely modern spa that has two saunas and a steam room. The loungers overlook the beautiful mountains. Overall a fantastic stay and would highly recommend

The room was very warm even with the aircon on. Also the aircon would loudly click on and off which woke me up. There were a few fruit flies in the room and also noticed a few at breakfast.

Gorgeous view with amazing staff, spa, and restaurant!

Absolutely loved our stay! The spa, employees and food were all amazing! We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and it was incredibly delicious. Beds were comfortable as was the bedding. And great shower with plenty of hot water and great pressure. There is also a nice hike that begins in the woods towards the back of the hotel to a pretty waterfall. The hotel has a small and really comfortable sitting area to relax after a hike or day out touring where you can enjoy drinks and light snacks. Super comfy!! Loved every minute of our stay!

We really had a wonderful stay but if I had to choose something I didn't like it would be... that the room was a bit warm for us and we didn't have much control over the thermostat in the room. While I did ask the staff to lower the temperature in our room, and they said they did, the room still felt very warm. We ended up opening the windows which made it more comfortable. We visited in the spring so there weren't any bugs but in the summer I'd really like to be able to control the thermostat in the room and for it to feel like the temperature I set it for.

A beautiful hotel

This hotel is beautiful! It smells amazing, looks lovely and is super clean, our room (11) was amazing, the best view and we did not want to leave! Breakfast was lovely (especially the pancakes!), dinner was really good too. Staff were so sweet and helpful. We hired e-bikes and did the easy ride to Italy which was great, then spent an evening chilling on our balcony star gazing. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in!

All excellent except the Breakfast

We stayed 2 nights. Horel very welcoming. Excellent personal attention. impeccable facilities. The restaurant for dinner is 5 stars, both the chef and the waiter.

Unfortunately I don't have good reviews for the breakfast: Very, very poor. If you want fresh orange juice you have to pay for it separately! There is no relationship between the category of the hotel and the breakfast. The breakfast staff is different from the dinner staff. They were neither fast nor attentive.

Postcard perfect location in an Alpine valley, surrounded by mountains. Staff could not have been more helpful and the room was luxurious and tasteful. Easy to get there from Ljubljana airport.

Next level of "deluxe"

Next level of "deluxe" As locals, we often treat ourselves to a weekend getaway, and often it's just for one night. No one "likes" guests for one night:) ... but not this place! We went to the Triangle Hotel with great expectations and were tipped off by friends that everything was exceptional. I can't find enough superlatives to summarise the positive experience. Room, bed, view, food, staff, wellness, surroundings ... and waking up to the first snowy winter morning. In a nutshell...a real treat!

Amazing hotel!

The friendly staff were amazing - Very attentive and went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. A special mention to Anze and Sergen - They were fantastic! We were staying on the top floor with a large balcony overlooking the mountains to the rear of the the property which is truly a special sight especially in the morning! Loved everything about our stay here! Highly recommend!

Breathtaking views and awesome service!

Staff was very nice and super helpful. Mountains view from the room and the restaurant was amazing! Breakfast was served very nicely. Location between two nearby towns was great.

Slightly too few and/or too similar breakfast menu options. I left my earbuds in the room after checkout and when I came back to retrieve them i was given the case but later i realized there were no earbuds in it. Maybe they were left in the room still, in any case I'm still hoping the hotel will find and return them.

A warm welcome in a beautifully designed hotel in the Slovenian Alps

Beautifully designed hotel just outside Kranjska Gora. Smiling and helpful staff, mountain views and delicious breakfasts. We had dinner in the restaurant a couple of times and can highly recommend it. The location is good for walking and biking with trails starting just behind the hotel. The staff really make this place special - always smiling and ready to help.

The hotel is located on a busy road and there is quite a bit of traffic noise, especially at weekends. Make sure your room is at the back of the hotel, as we were not really able to enjoy our terrace for this reason.
