Total Serenity

The caravan was spotlessly clean, apart from a few dirty utensils in kitchen but this will be down to the last people in the van, easily over looked. Staff were very helpful when we needed them, especially when the water pipes froze over night! views are spectacular and it's so quiet and relaxing! We hit very low temperatures for our stay but we're cosy and warm in our caravan the whole time.

It didnt bother me and my husband but the kids did complain about the poor WiFi, however it is to be expected in the middle of the countryside. Sofa bed quite uncomfortable to sleep on very thin soft mattress. This hasn't stopped us from already deciding to come back :)

Clean and modern

Amazing place to stay with beach just ten minutes walk away and lots of walking trail. Nice and clean all the things you need were provided which was good in case you’ve forgotten anything. Only downside is shower temperature was very temperamental.

Lovely place, owners could be more pleasant

The unit is complete and clean, serene and near the beach. Spacious living area and good size kitchen.

Despite there being a lockbox, it’s not utilised and check in would be a hassle if you happen to arrive late. Owners are not very friendly about it and it made us feel unwelcome, won’t consider returning.

Great caravan with great hoasts

Beautiful caravan set in a beautiful part of the country, the caravan is spotless & every thing you need is provided, we visited Rawcliffe & have 3 dog’s, the wrap round veranda was fabulous as it has a gate on to keep my 3 dog’s safe, theres a tv with free-view, the beds are lovely & comfortable even the single bed’s they we’re lovely & spacious, there’s a massive fridge/freezer, the kitchen was well equipped everything you need.

The only downside to Rawcliffe was how steep the steps were, it wouldn’t have been a problem but 1 of my dog’s has mobility issues & our old terrier struggled to get down the steps, I spoke to Hazel & explained that we would be booking again for next year but said we’d probably book another caravan that didn’t have such seep steps, that weekend i got a message that they had changed the steps so they aren’t as steep, the hosts go out of there way to make people’s (& dog’s) stay an enjoyable stay

Location was absolutely stunning, along with the wildlife. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful. The caravan was lovely. Couldn't fault the park in any way, so peaceful.

Lovely caravan, lovely location, middle of nowhere, great for walks along the beach and to just to escape, dunoond close enough for swimming baths, a cinema and some supermarkets.

My husband would have liked if there was a pub within walking distance but no big deal.

The Rawcliffe was surprisingly spacious and immaculate from inside. Good heating, shower and cooking facilities. Location was ideal for nature lovers!

Diamond in the rough.

The Rawcliffe itself is beautiful: clean, very new feeling, super decking with closeable gate, en-suite as well as a bathroom and shower, large screen TV and electric fire along with gas CH and constant hot water and a large, comfortable lounge. The master bedroom is also spacious. We didn't use bedroom two, but that is standard size with single beds. The location is stunning with beach and forest trails within a ten minute walk. The area is quiet, relatively isolated with Dunoon half an hour's drive, with quite spectacular scenery when the Scotch Mist lifts. The owners are very helpful, friendly and offered great communication before we arrived.

Site itself is best described as 'a work in progress'. End of a busy season maybe, but tatty and quite muddy after the rain, especially when accessing the rubbish bins.

We were delighted with our stay! The caravan was extremely well equipped and very clean. The location was quiet, with beautiful scenery around and near a lovely pebble beach. The owners were helpful. We would return.

we loved the van

the van is great, really clean and modern really well equipped. it is presented exactly as shown, we were very comfortable. it’s well situated to allow kids to play outside while still being able to supervise. lots of lovely walks near by but bring your insect repellent.

the campsite needs some work it’s a bit messy. We had mentioned on the first day that there appeared to be a pile of dog poo bags next to one of the little seating huts and that it was full of rubbish unfortunately nothing was done. nearest shop is 8 miles which is only a bad thing if your not prepared.
