Lovely Comfortable Caravan. Dog friendly a bonus. It's probably one of the best positions on the site. Nice Woodland walk to the beach. Good stay for a short break.
Caravan near the Road that runs past site. Not a busy road, however when traffic goes past, it is very noticeable.
Caravan site is very tired and run down with junk and old broken vans lying around. Absolutely no facilities. Toilet seat and kitchen window blind kept falling off since arrival. I would say overpriced for what you get.

Very cosy and warm in caravan, good location next to Loch Long so beautiful scenery and peaceful quiet surroundings. Great for a base to visit other areas- did the job. Great communication from Hazel to reach location. Staff (Greg) was very helpful getting us settled and with tips and history of the area. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Good Value for money. spotlessly clean. Beautiful tranquil surroundings.
The van was old-fashioned. However , that reflected on the price. It was so clean , family friendly, and dog friendly . No complaints.

It was clean and tidy and much roomier than most static caravans I’ve stayed in - plenty of space. It is sited in a really nice spot and it is very peaceful. I was able to switch off and have a few days rest while here (all the walking during the day also helped I think)!

The site itself was very untidy which was a shame as the surrounding area was nice. The lady who cleaned was very unpleasant .

The location
When we arrived we had to wait for someone to give us the keys. The caravan is lovely inside and spacious but it needs a deep clean as there were cobwebs on ceiling, the windows were filthy, dust at back of tv unit and underneath unit. Toilet pan in on suite not secured to the floor, plus toilet door doesn’t shut . No lightbulb in on suite toilet toilet either. Bedside lights could be dangerous as one of them had the shade just hanging on the fitting and if you as much as nudged it the electricity would go off as it tripped the switch. Water pressure in taps in toilet not good it was only trickling so I didn’t even attempt to get a shower. If we wanted to use the barbecue we would have had to give it a good clean as there was ash inside it an full of cobwebs. Couldn’t close curtains in toilets as they’re put up with Velcro. Good big caravan that needs these issues dealt with. There was no hoover in the van or cleaning product’s which I thought was unusual as I always like to clean a van when I’m leaving. We left a day early as I just couldn’t get comfy in the van .

Great location and nice patio with bbq
The property wasn’t cleaned to the standards that we were expecting. There was no lights in 2 rooms on the first night, we had to get the maintenance guy to come and sort it out (the electricity fuses were down). Last morning there was no electricity in the whole caravan again and we had to flip the fuses ourselves (we found this very unprofessional and a hazard). When we arrived all the windows were opened and the midges came into the caravan as the windows didn’t have the insect nets and we got bitten everywhere!! The bed, duvets, sheets even toothbrushes in the bathroom were all covered in midges !! This have ruined our holiday. Also the owners/staff were extremely rude from day one telling us if we don’t like something we can go and they are more than happy to refund us. We drove almost 3 hours from Edinburg to be welcomed this way. My suggestion to the owners is to get the insect nets as it only £2.70 on Amazon and be grateful when someone wants to use their facilities.

Lovely location, bright and clean. Everything worked and it had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!
Could have done with a bread knife but that’s being picky

Wow, just wow. I'm sorry but the negative reviews are ridiculous. Granted its not the most modern of caravans, but the detail they've gone to in making sure you have everything you need is incredible, right down to the tiniest detail. It has a fantastic decking with incredible views and a bbq which we used everyday. The location is breath taking, surrounded by mountains and next to the water with an abundance of walks to choose from. Plan ahead as it is a drive to the nearest shop but the tranquility absoloutely makes up for it. Incredible host who even came to offer us a high chair when they saw we had a little one. We are already planning our next stay

It was just what we needed time away with quite and peace that wasn't home. Lovely part of world for first time to Scotland so will come back and visit more of the beautiful country.
Would recommend the Aspen for anyone that wants to get away and have peace.
Only thing I'd say was a problem is there wasn't enough kitchen utensils and equipment.
