StayZeni, Ouse Court York Lovely 1 Bed Apartment

Michelle who handed over the keys was very friendly. When I booked the apartment I queried whether there was parking on site and they advised there was, however, when we arrived we were told this was not the case. Michelle found a space for us on site which was really appreciated as we had travelled for over 6 hours. These apartments are in a great location for seeing York - it's just a short walk into town.

We've used these apartments several and the oven and cooker hob is always a nuisance to get the hang of! Some extra kitchen pans and oven trays would also be useful.

It had a musty smell as you walked in, it looked like there was some previous water damage in the bedroom and entrance that may have contributed to that

Great apartment for 2 people. Building was quiet. 10 mins from York Minster. So we walked everywhere. Very comfortable so we could relax.

Nothing.

Positives: Location was very good, 10 mins from the city center & 5 mins from supermarkets. The site manager that met us was welcoming and checking in was straight forward. The flat was clean & a good size.

Negatives; The directions to the apartment were misleading as it said that the main entrance is next to Nationwide Building Society, which doesn't exist in that building. We ended up phoning the site manager. There was no where to hang coats. There was no waste bin in the bathroom. The bedroom didn't have a stool or chair to put clothes on. We only had 1 hand towel between 2 of us. (I did ask for another but nothing was done) The kitchen was poorly equipped if you want to prepare any meals. Missing items: Tin opener, Cheese grater, microwaveable containers, sieve, measuring jug, potatoes peeler, weighing scales, an oven tray and washing up bowl. There were only 2 mugs as well. The microwave was rusty inside.
