Bright and Spacious 2 Bedroom Apartment in York

We had a really positive stay overall, especially thanks to the host. They were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to help us, particularly with parking. As I was travelling with three disabled children, parking close by was really important, and although the local options were limited (mostly Aldi or paid parking like Asda), the host kindly arranged access to a gated space, which made a huge difference to us. The apartment itself was very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable — cleanliness was definitely a high standard.

However, there were a few maintenance issues that could be improved. The internet dropped out frequently didnt work at all at points, so it was hard to operate the TV and work emails / gagdgets kids, which when they have ASD its extremely important during our stay, and there were quite a few signs of wear and tear, such as scratches and some fixtures (like shower handles falling off and a missing drawer) needing attention. Overall, a great stay due to the host’s support, cleanliness, and location, but a few small improvements would make it even better.

As mentioned by a previous reviewer there was a problem with the hot water in the main bathroom shower. Small bins in the bedrooms and a hand towel in the kitchen would have been useful but these last two are minor niggles. Could not fault the overall cleanliness of the apartment

Absolutely beautiful. The apartment it’s self was a gorgeous stay, and the location was perfect

The only problem we had was the hoover didn’t work but that would not affect my score at all.
