Stay Zeni Ouse Court York 2BED Flat with Balcony

We liked the security of the apartment and it far exceeded our expectations. We were able to walk to many of York's best sights, including the walls of York directly from the apartment. The balcony overlooking the gardens was a bonus, The bedrooms were light and airy and there was an ensuite and a second bathroom. Each bedroom has a good opening window for fresh air. The Washing Machine worked very well, as did the full size fridge. Lift to the third floor was a good size and easy to use. The furnishings include a dining table for 6 and a comfortable 3 seater couch and chair. Car parking was safe & secure; with electronic gates and a code to open. Parking spaces marked including electric charging. There is also a second code to get into the foyer area and lift. A climbing centre is around the corner.They serve pizza and alcohol/coffee. It's well run; great pizzas, friendly community and staff. Also a supermarket (Morrisons) is walking distance of 200 metres.

The lights in our corridor did not work. It was explained by the host who said repair people had been working on lights that activated.. As we stayed 5 nights this became a problem. We never sighted anyone working on lights or electrics and had to use our phone torch every time we entered our section of corridor as it was completely dark and we were the far end entrance. All other corridor sections were lit as we moved except for ours. They may have been fixed after we had left.
