The Seacot Cottage was cozy and comfortable. Nice to walk along the canal.

Large living area. Well appointed and clean. Comfortable beds. Close to the canal and sea locks made for interesting walks. Pub close by and an easy drive into the city.

Very clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Great access to activities.
All of it was great.

The house itself was very nice, we felt confortable and enjoy a nice stay; the bay behind the house was lovely
This is very tricky to park the car especially a big car like ours; the road was a little bit « noisy » but we are not used to live in a city

We appreciated how clean the house was upon our arrival. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and eat, which we were grateful for. The hosts were responsive and kind. The recliner sofa was comfortable to relax on. The beds were comfortable.
I really regret having to write this review, because the hosts couldn't have been nicer or more responsive, but future guests need to know some things that I didn't see in any of the reviews I read before I booked this property. This house is VERY cramped. It is charming, but that's as far as it goes. There are two bathrooms, but neither bathroom was useable, to be honest. Granted, we are Americans, and people will accuse us of not being used to European bathrooms, but these bathrooms are not just small, they are honestly impractical. One shower is so small you cannot lift your arms. The other "shower" is just a bathtub with a shower head, so if you try to use it, the water literally goes everywhere. The sink in one bathroom is smaller than a toaster and half of it is behind the small shower, so you can't use it anyway. If you are staying for a few days and plan to use the washer/dryer, be warned, it is an all-in-one, and the clothes DO NOT dry. And, if you have a car, the parking is impossible. And the only TV that is available to watch is Netflix. At least that's all we were able to figure out---we weren't able to sign into any of our streaming services because we have American accounts, and we weren't able to access any over-the-air channels, I don't think the cottage has any television set up. There is little space to spread out and put your luggage or clothes, especially if you are staying for a few days, the space is so small. We were four people, I cannot imagine more than four staying there. Also, there are very few plugs to plug in any of your electronics (a common problem in Europe, to be fair). So, overall, it pains me to say it, because the hosts were wonderful to us, but I just cannot recommend this experience to anyone else, especially Americans.

Comfort and size of the property
Small amount of dust in places. No big issue.
Particularly, the fans in the bathrooms may do with vacuuming. Easily missed

Close to the canal for nice walks, quite large and comfy home
The House is located very close to the Street and the Train, however it was quiet during the Night

The location is second to none and the cottage is extremely comfortable, especially the lounge and beds
Parking was an issue when we arrived due to some roadworks ongoing outside of the cottage. However we had no issues once these had cleared.

This was an exceptional place to stay. Beautifully clean, everything the five of us could have needed, owners who couldn't have been more helpful or responsive on-line (we didn't meet them and didn't need to) and a wonderful location - do not be taken in by the road at the front of the house because the sea is behind it! Very easy access to central Inverness

Really spacious and well designed house. Really clean and bright inside. Coffee/tea and porridge was there which was super. We did really enjoy the house.
I couldn’t find an extra pillow for my bed, and the one I did have was a bit flat. Some plumbing issues, especially in the upstairs bathroom which created a smell. Shower was quite small.

The cottage is comfortable but cozy. It had a lot of charm and located near a pier/lock that was lovely to visit. It had all the amenities needed to be comfortable.
It is just a little tricky to find and the description was a bit unclear how close to the water. Also, having to change the thermostat was not easy since you had to contact the property owner to do it remotely. If you wanted to do it in the middle of the night or early morning you had to hope the owner was checking messages. She was responsive though.

The interior was lovely and the bed comfortable
The pictures of the house are wildly deceiving, we were expecting a cottage on the water front as per the multiple pictures on the profile, instead it was a cottage on a busy main road. Parking is not clear, I tried phoning the owner twice and left a voicemail asking for guidance to park and no one got back to me. The towel in the upstairs bathroom had a smear of what looked like toothpaste on it.
Check out was at 10am, at 9:50am there was someone peering into the dining room window from outside which we could only presume was the cleaner. 10am on the dot the cleaner was making her way into the house telling us we had to leave now because there was going to be an early check in and would be arriving soon. I had requested an early check in myself and was offered a 2pm rather than the stated 3pm which I appreciated at the time. We gathered our things and left to then watch 3 of the cleaners children pile into the house. As we drove away we saw the kids carrying cartons of juice that we had left into thier car. Don't mind that, better than it going to waste but wait until we are out of sight atleast.
We all felt rushed and put out.
Overall it wasn't a great experience from the moment we arrived and certainly won't be returning.

I wish we could have stayed longer! All of the linens (bedding and towels) were fresh, new and clean. The decor is very charming. The location is perfect for exploring the area. Very comfortable facilities for a couple traveling with two children ( one older and one toddler).

Location of the property was amazing being so close to Caledonian Canal Sealock. The area around Sealock is so beautiful place. There are some very nice walks alongside the canal and by the sea. Walking around here was very enjoyable.I didn't walk or drive to town from here so can't comment how easy that access is. House is big, very clean and orderly. Has lots of space. A family with kids would be very comfortable.
There was a rather busy road in front of the house. I could hear cars passing from the bedroom. There is also a railroad at the back of the house but trains rarely pass. I felt rather cold for a while after I checked into the property. It took a while to figure out how to warm the place. I wasn't sure about parking on the road in front of the house as cars use the road continuously. I left the car in the schoolyard as recommended by the hosts. Although this was around 6pm. School has placed a note banning parking here until 8pm. This was a bit confusing but in the end I didn't experience any problems.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Very clean. Well thought out. Clear instructions about check in and check out. Will happily stay here again.
Parking on the road was a tiny bit tricky because it was narrow and busy.
However there was some extra parking behind (this was unfortunately full when we arrived)
