Good location but unfortunately and uncomfortable stay.

Good location - short walk to centre. Property was clean and well heated for winter. Easily accessible and there was plenty room for parking.

Bed was very uncomfortable - ended up sleeping on sofa. At times the train could be loud if it was stationary right outside the property. The fridge was also loud at times but this was just noticeable as I was not sleeping in the bedroom.

Lovely flat that the trains pass

Another lovely comfortable stay at the Railside. Great wee cosy flat within 5 mins walk of the town. Hopefully get the chance to stay again in the future

Dirty tray in oven stopped me using the oven and a used dish washing up sponge was on the sink otherwise the property would have scored a 10.

Bathroom and the whole unit smelled like a sewer, trains run all night - even though the reviews warned - the experience was worse than we expected, clothes dryer is ineffective and no where to put the clothes drying rack because the unit is so small.

Excellent unit for overnight stay with easy access to Aviemore and the Cairngorms National Park

Had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, including a large refrigerator. The living room had very comfortable sofas and a smart TV with many channels and apps to watch. The bedroom was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The host responded quickly to our questions and accommodated both our check in and check out times. The cottage is right by the steam train tracks but the train only makes 3 round trips and passes the cottage quickly. Hearing it pass the cottage was not a nuisance. There is a sufficient and private parking in the driveway.

The heaters throughout the house were pre set with no ability to adjust the temperature up or down, except for the heater in the bedroom. The shower required turning power on to the shower unit which was accomplished via a pull switch hanging from the ceiling over the toilet. I didn't know this and had to text the hosts.

Quick but enjoyable stay.

Good, secure location, just 5 min walking into main area. Small but well arranged and not cluttered. Parking permit supplied and we had no problems parking.

Clean and well-equipped for self catering eg stove, refrigerator and microwave. Comes also with a washing machine with laundry supplies and two sizeable drying racks. Parking permit provided for car.

Fantastic property,perfect for the 2 of us and our dog, garden was secure for dog, very close to town and beautiful walks around the river, ness islands and Caledonian canal, neither of us drive everything in walking distance. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again

Location was very good, especially for arrival via train or bus. Easy walk to shopping dining area. Great garden for relaxing after a long day of shopping and touring.

We could park the car just out front. Kitchen and facilities were good as we cooked our own meals. It was easy enough to walk into town.

The bedroom was a bit small and bed a bit soft. When I used the washing machine, it got extremely hot!

Parking infront of the apartment. Grocery store 300m away. Otherwise peaceful but train is going behind the building.

No air condition or ventilation. Not even in the bathroom. And no window in the bathroom either. The bathroom is molded and humite. Train is going just behind the apartment. So if you are light sleeper, you mind have troubles to sleep. We were fine though.

Two nights of good sleep and we enjoyed the easy walk into town a few times.

The property is well located with a quick easy walk into the town centre and restaurants plus easy to head north from. It has a good shower and comfy bed. There was plenty of free parking in the street using the parking permit provided by the owners.

The bedroom has a sofa in it leaving not a lot of room for our suitcases and hand luggage. Although it is located near the Trainline, the noise of the trains never bothered us.

This property was perfect for our stay, spotlessly clean and we would definitely stay again.

Although rather small, this property has everything for a couple and a dog. 5 mins walk to city centre where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. Parking permit was provided which was a nice touch. Compact and comfortable sitting/ kitchen area with a separate bedroom with a super comfy bed and a separate shower room. Nice garden sitting area for when the sun shines (eventually). Overall property was perfect for our use and was spotlessly clean, would definite use again.
